...for the birthday wishes! It was a pretty sedate birthday, as I spent six hours of it travelling to and from a job interview, but on the plus side I was offered the job! The simple pleasures of adulthood.

Also, the second fic is probably the best birthday story I have ever read. XD
Should the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' link go to 'Matilda' instead?
The easter egg being, originally that chapter had Iolanthe reading Charlie. Neshomeh very astutely pointed out that Matilda would be a better fit, and I changed it - but missed the reference. Thank you! I'll fix that tonight maybe.

That is some epic life story.
Since I’m here and the latest 'Driftwood' mission went off the main page, thank you for the extended authors note there; this may help. Also, I especially liked that, besides the tapes fed to Isildor, the agents didn’t find anything to kill. Yeah for missions without bloody glittery slaying.

I liked this story, though I can't think of much to say about it other than "this was fluffy, heartwarming, and well-written".
It's a good birthday present.
And here is a red-berries and black-hole chocolate cake for the occasion!
For the story... Welp, feels everywhere, from bad to good to worst to better... Wish I get to write something like that someday, with characters who can boast of a story as extensive as that one.
Unfortunately, I couldn't understand this story as I haven't read any of the Reorganisation/Crashing Down/Emergency stuff. But it still looks good from what I've seen!

(And a lovely and feelsy fic. Thank you for holding so much of this community so close to your heart.)
And a great story, too. :)
