I used the same joke JUST now, and I totally forgot that you did it first.
Oh, well. Guess I should check the rest of the posts here in case I overpun my joke budget. XD

Three days from now (which, for me, will be June eleventh) I will signal an end to the entries, and a start to the voting. ...I might as well have it delivered via Allosaurus Express. That is, it will be sealed in an envelope made from cycad leaves and tied to the ankle of a carnosaur, which will in turn be led to wherever the pun contest is being held.

I was going to use the Tyrannosaurus Express, but I wasn't sure how to use a Cretaceous pun.
Ah, well. You can, uh, chalk it up to me wanting a more recognizable term!
(Get it? No? Fine. To explain: The Cretaceous period is derived from the Latin "creta", or chalk, referring to the extensive beds of calcium carbonate deposited by the shells of marine invertebrates found in the upper Cretaceous of western Europe.)
