Do I know you? Oh yeah. I seen you in Discord, like, all the time. I've bounced ideas off you (I trust you enough to be a story adviser; does this mean I trust you with your own? Heck yes.), I've RPed with your characters. I got to watch them develop as you readied for Permission. I like 'em. You got plans to rein in their more OP sides. Gold star.

Can you write? You got betas. Good show. I've seen your unedited RP posts and you know how to do SPaG there, too. And your prompts and bios look solid; there were a few punctuation errors, but nothing major aside from using carrot brackets to show your characters thinking. They're not Andalites; use italics instead, for thoughts and for the Flowers. Flowers don't use quotations for their speech. Make sure to italicize those continua, too. :) Basically, SPaG is mostly good, and nothing that a beta or two can't catch.

As for storytelling, I think you're good. The control prompt was a bit lacking in funny, but it was engaging nonetheless, and it was a nice showing of how your agents met.

The second prompt was better; I laughed when Apecian fell in the Floating Hyacinth's tank.

And the fic to spork: I took one look and NOPEd out. I think we're done here.

Either genuinely terrible or a terrible parody, but either way, drek. Charges include overuse of capitalization, particularly in the chapter titles, misunderstanding of the connotations of certain Japanese words, driving canons out of character, misunderstanding Mary Sues as a whole, driving canons out of character, being a total brat, irritating and pointless Author's Note's, driving canons out of character, a seeming hatred of dialogue tags, and, of course, driving canons out of character. Replacement may figure into it, but it will require a tad more assessment.

I'm working on a crossover on FFN, and one of my readers basically told me that he was inspired to write a story in the same style. I looked over at his profile--and found that his writing needs help. I already spoke to him about it, and he's willing to accept some concrit, or even a beta, for his story.

If anyone is familiar with Bakugan: Battle Brawlers, or if you're good at giving concrit and aren't averse to doing some research on the Bakugan Wiki, could you please hop over and give a hand? I would gladly do so myself, but I know that once I start meddling, I'd go all-in and start betaing: not something I think that I have the time for at this point.

Summary: New Vestroia is in danger! Aliens who call themselves "Vestals" have invaded New Vestroia and enslaved almost all Bakugan. Drago decides to immediately call the Brawlers for help. Will they save New Vestroia?

From what I could gather after skimming the first chapter, it appears to be an AU of New Vestroia (the second season) with some elements of Gundalian Invaders (the third season) mixed in. So far, I've caught

* numerals instead of words, and
* underdescribed settings.

Hello! I'm Khryssty - my goal in devising this screen name was spelling a fairly normal name as extravagantly as possible - and I just thought I'd poke my head in and say hi. I've been a casual appreciator of PPC works for some time now, and I'd love to get involved with all of these great fellow writers.

Usually, in my free time, I write fiction or play video games. Recently, I actually finished something! Whoopee! I'm still hammering away at a persistent motivation problem that I feel like I'm making progress with.

I'm enthusiastically committed to all things Versailles Philharmonic Quintet, especially involving the vocalist, KAMIJO, and I have this Huge Unifying Theory that ties together the lore of the band's songs with some things from KAMIJO's solo project to create this big honking backstory. Deranged, I know. I was probably a conspiracy theorist in a past life. I tried making it into fanfic once. It didn't work out at all. I might go back. Maybe. Unlikely.

I'm also fairly knowledgeable in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, MapleStory, Overwatch, and Undertale, and I have some other bits and pieces of fictional knowledge scattered about in my brain.

On your other point: I can't pretend to know why the chat community didn't raise this as a problem earlier. The only experience I can work from is my own, which you can read over in the previous thread if you choose. Essentially, the word 'harassment' has different meanings to different people. To me - and to the Constitution as presently written - it means 'repeatedly attacking, bullying, and demeaning someone'.

That wasn't the sense in which Iximaz and Tomash were using it; their version is also accurate. But bear in mind where you are - the PPC has never been noted for consisting of highly-stable, socially-adept types. A large proportion of us are frankly inept when it comes to interpersonal skills (such as, say, me).

So yeah, I think it's actually reasonable to assume that some of our people - which includes members down to and below age 13, many of whom are awestruck by the presence of Big Names like Iximaz - aren't going to get that 'try and be wherever Iximaz is and talk to them all the time' is a form of harassment. I don't know whether that's the situation with GlarnWhatsit, but it feels like it.

My view has always been that the best way to prevent bad behaviour is to make it clear that it is bad, in advance. Cut things off at the start, and you never have to resort to punishment.
