Glad you're feeling better, at least. You keep yourself well, okay?

It's the Big Sib thing you ought to be worried about.
And the city of Pompeii. Have you seen that place? Looks like a bunch of outdated stoves and clay bricks nailed together in front of a mountain. I know I certainly wouldn't raise my five-year old daughter there.
And I shall write said characters. Cheers!

The best kind of punchline is a poorly planned punchline, I always said.
Nah, mate, things're going fine for me. Just noticed that my PPC stuff was slowing down (uncertainty buggers with productivity, let me tell you.) and, y'know. Communing, and all.
Cheers for asking, though!
Also for that punchline/cheesecake bathing tip!
Boy, am I indebted.

Suppose my biggest fear with what I'm doing is not engaging with the setting enough, y'know? Turning it into something that's mine when it isn't.
I figured that straight up shooting off and away from missions with a couple characters might've been in the spookzone, and, I get that 'PPC is a community first' thing, and the relative unimportance of missions to this or that, but you catch my drift.
I mean, I suppose it really shouldn't be a worry, considering that I've been fairly careful with all that stuff, so far, and even the mission thing I'm still planning on doing, and all that, but, y'know.

Yay, soup! Thank you!
I missed you too, Ix. Just never had the brainspace to be posting. Things have been kinda sucky. But hopefully I'm here to stay now.
Though *right* now I should probably be sleeping. Since it's two am and I need to get up at nine. And then I will have a more coherent response. With actual commas.

I guess I'm a returnbie now. I didn't mean to leave for so long. Things just... did not go well. "Sick pretty much since February" did not go well. Also misbehaving brain.
But I'm back now. I hope to stick around this time. I missed y'all.

As long as you keep liking them too. Background characters are just as important to a story, though they might not be in the limelight.
Hope things are going alright for you :/
And putting cheesecakes in water baths when baking help prevent cracks :)

I'll start: Once when I was running a MLP: FiM sci-fi RP, somebody submitted the following character:
Name: Nova Borealis
Race: Evolved Alicorn Goddess
Gender:female
Mane and Tail style and color: rainbow polluted with white streaks
Coat color: wight
Eye Color: rainbow
Cutie Mark: atom symbol
Field of Science: The multiverse
Things Others Might Need to Know: Nova was born 13.5 billion years ago along with the big bang, she also wields the Comet Pod which is the most powerful tool of destruction and creation in the multiverse
Needless to say, she did not get accepted.
What are your worst and/or weirdest stories of Sues?

I LOVE SATW so much it's my favorite web comic right now
I was really into Hetalia too about 2 years back and I haven't found another anime that fills that hole yet. I was very involved in the fandom, especially on DeviantArt. I'm a huge history nerd so everything about the show that was actually based on history was great. I couldn't help but love Austria/Prussia/Hungary relationship though :P
I don't really know any fan theories besides the Germany becomes HRE and Greece/Byzantine/Roman Empire family lineage wreck because I prefer Hetalia head cannons a lot more. Some of them are actually so great.

I'm mildly worried about “the whole Big Sib thing's Pompeii-ified,” and hope everything's okay, but leaving that aside for a moment, there's absolutely no problem with Background Maintenance teams. I certainly hope that hasn't changed, at least, or it makes my next mission rather pointless. Write the kinds of characters that you want to.

So don't worry about losing your spine. Trust me, when it's returned, it'll be better than new. As a bonus, if you lose or ruin your imagination during your examination, I'll purchase you a new one.

I am forwarding this to the Department of Alteration for a Category J brain-scan. Your consciousness may be withheld for a period of some weeks while your purity assessment is ongoing; a temporary replacement will be provided. I am obliged to inform you that should your previous personality contain hints of infected thought, the Department of Alteration is empowered to overwrite that personality and replace it with a more socially acceptable version. A party of DoA officials will be with you shortly. Try not to bleed on their jackboots.

Might want a bit of advice. by

And, er, the whole Big Sib thing's Pompeii-ified, so I suppose I'll just shout out to everyone in the general vicinity, hoping nobody complains about civil disturbances, or anything like that.
Majority of my PPC stuff, permission prompts and all included, focus on fellows in Building Maintenance. Always been fond of the under-represented background-types, myself. Was initially planning on trying out weirder stuff, moving into missions later on.
So, I came up with the concepts of them a bit back, when I had less knowledge of the PPC, how it worked, how it ought to work, what we ought to be doing, et al, and I now wonder if that's a good idea, is all.
Perhaps it's a point against me, my writing skills, my personality, my being, my existence, and my horrible stench that I'm going out asking about this, but I figure, what's the sense in a community that doesn't commune, right? All you have left is 'Ity,' which sounds like a bug of some kind, and I quite like bugs, but they're fairly irrelevant to the point I'm making.
Just ought to ask if it'd be better to retool them into mission-doing-fellows, retconning past stuff (I mean, it's not technically canon, anyway,) or if I ought to keep them, and make other, separate characters, over them.
I mean, I quite like them, as is. Pretty decently developed, I like their personalities and chemistry and all, and I probably could alter them, but, at the same time, it feels a tad spooky to make a change like that, y'know? I've already done quite a bit with them, and it just seems (seems) an awful big change. Have to redo those prompts, and all.
I mean, you lot know what you're doing. Figured it wouldn't hurt to get some ideas.
I'd just like some advice. Thoughts. Silly jokes. Insults. Undisguised loathing. Cooking tips.
