About me: massive nerd, programs computers, 5'7", male and he/him. Short brown hair, tends to wear random T-Shirts. Cal has jooked me into crochet. I've also got really thick glasses and have lately wandered just over the legal blindness line.
Limits ... no genderbending, otherwise go nuts, and feel free to ignore the descriptions anywhere here. If nothing else, there's a whole world of computer nonsense I haven't been shipped with yet, since that ship also ended up as a tradition.
And, heck with it, to provide some context on my Discord avatar, have a reference for dog!me
Ship suggestions to follow when I'm not on my phone at an airport.

o.O It's this time of year already? by

Wow. This year is Moving, to some extent.
I'm usually in, and...I think I am this year, too? Why not. No limits beyond please don't ship me with anyone underage. (There are a handful of other things that I'd write out as limits if I thought they were even remotely likely to come up, but since it seems unlikely and I'm tired, I'll leave it.)
Let's see, let's see. Female, but for Shipfest purposes feel free to do whatever you like. My hair is currently Very Long, and I speak multiple languages. I am, unfortunately, Tired enough to write it with a capital T. May or may not be in costume, given it's basically Purim. (Apologies as ever, recently, for the lack of Purim RP.)
As you can maybe tell, I'm not exactly fussed about accuracy for myself in the Shipfest, overall (to the point where I considered giving no description at all, actually). Go wild, have fun, hopefully make me laugh? :) I don't know if I'll manage to actually participate, and I haven't been active enough recently that I'm really expecting to see my name show up much, but hey, why not?

She/her. Six one. Brown hair. Weird murky teal eyes. So much acne scarring on her back that it looks like a cheese grater. Bloated. Greasy. Unpleasant. Permanent air of unearned superiority. Looks like she's been dragged to the occasion by a runaway horse.
Do not ship me with Voyd, Hanafuda, Renegade X, or Damian/Neo Skater/Whateverhisnamehereis. Beyond that, go nuts. I don't know why you'd want to ship me with anybody when I look like, sound like, and have the charisma of the aftermath of bad Mexican food, but whatever, it's your party.

Kittyauthor, they/they, 5'1" (and proud of it). Hasn't dated anyone before. Is 17. Can be called KitKat but do not call me just Kat or Cat. No borderline-NSFW (I am very naïve and probably wouldn't get it anyways). On the topic of love, I am what my friends call "sheltered;" I know next to nothing besides "kiss kiss" and flirting. Loooong hair that reaches midthigh in a low ponytail (prefered style). Wears baggy clothes. Is technically overweight at 135lbs (and I hate it). Hair is a dark brown, eyes (behind cat eye glasses) are an amber-ish color in brighter lights and a dull brown in other lights. Typically in a pair of black pants (boy pants), a math-y t-shirt, and this (the back) Invader Zim jacket. Loves cuddles. Touching is the love language.
Do not: Ship me with someone older than 18, call me Cat or Kat (I have my reasons), do anything borderline NSFW, or ship me with Disney villians.
I'd love to see myself shipped with giant robots Just For Fun. Like, that's all I'm looking for lol. /j
Uuuh, I think that's it? I prefer if you keep with my physical description, if that's okay.

I'm willing to give it a go. I'm around 6 ft. tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, 23, male, straight, and tend to wear a fedora everywhere I go. I tend to joke around a lot, sometimes when it's not appropriate. I don't try to hurt anyone, but I can be pretty clueless sometimes. I'd prefer not to do anything sexual, but other than that I'm not terribly picky. Ship away, me hearties!

I’m 17, she/her, 5’8, and 128 pounds at last check. I am bisexual and don’t care who I’m shipped with. I have short—about two inches over my shoulders—brown hair and glasses. I have an permanent tan and green eyes with golden center heterochromia (Sue eyes). I’m definitely less plankish then last year (ie: actually has some curves and is mildly proud of them). I will either wear the baggiest sweatpants/hoodie combo known to man or the skimpiest clothes possible, there is no in between. I have a school uniform which I do ask not to be brought into the Shipfest as I dislike the sexualization of school uniforms. I listen to a fuvg ton of Rammstein, so do with that as you will. There’s pictures of me in the Discord if you feel like getting a reference.
Restrictions: No school uniform shipfics (you know the ones I’m talking about, I hope)

So, a bit of description to make things easier (but feel free to ignore!): Male, 5 foot 8 inches (about 173 cm), about 150 pounds (70 kg), brown hair, blue eyes, glasses, and a beard. I usually wear jeans or cargo pants and a T-shirt.
Restrictions: Please don't gender swap me. Otherwise, go nuts!
Suggested ships: I've been out of the Discord and Board loops this year because of Real Life, so I have none. Shipping me with dragons is a meme (and one I'm far from tired of).

This one was suggested by Philly. I want to see it happen now. I probably won't be the one to write it, though.

I usually go by Moons, though you can also call me Moony, Mouse, Zearth, or really anything you want. (I'd say anything but late for dinner, but I actually am late for dinner often enough it wouldn't be fair.)
I'm 19, she/her or they/them. Afab, if it comes up. I'm on the shorter side of average and very very skinny. Usually in either pajamas or a sundress, though sometimes I'll wear a t-shirt and jeans with a sash belt. Long, wavy light brown hair that goes kinda copper in the sunlight, green eyes, glasses. Very pale. Of course, feel free to ignore any of this and describe me however you like.
I love, love, love cuddles, and am a bit of a sap. Do with that what you will.
I'm open to most anything, but steer clear of the first three points on the Discord blacklist, and (if they sign up) don't ship me with Cal (we're exes and it would be awkward) or Fuda (we're not on speaking terms). Very weird tangent about a very unlikely scenario
Things I have been shipped with in the server include: the giant robot from Bokurano, giant robots in general, and the Russian language.
Finally, because the corset ship is a staple at this point: I don't own a corset irl, but I do really want one.

They/them, approximately 5' 3", light tan skin, blue eyes, and very thick curly brown hair which is currently about shoulder length, though I plan to cut it short sometime soon. I usually wear jeans and t-shirts or button ups. If you really want to, you can write me as a big sentient book. Or as a person who can turn into a book, or a book that can turn into a person. I like cuddles.
I like books, especially fantasy, sci-fi, literature, and poetry. I write short stories, poems, and fanfic in my free time. I also read a lot. I am a nerd, and proud of it.
I also like Rammstein and other heavy metal and rock and roll. And classical music and folk music because I play violin.

Try to keep it PG-13 ish and respect people's wishes. If you have anything you don't want in stories written about you, please say so. A brief description including pronouns would be helpful. This is also the thread for suggesting ships. Please provide some sort of silly justification.

Oh, wow! Quite a lot of firsts in this chapter! The department of Bad Parody gets named, along with the species of its head. Newbies being majorly untrained, consoles being explicitly huge, and "offices" being numbered and separate from other DMS "offices" all seem to originate here. Plus, I think this was the first time a manual got mentioned? And of course, the first Hitchhiker's Guide reference!
I think mulberry deserves definite kudos for being so creative with their concept of what the DBP's work looks like. In the modern day, action departments that have actually been written all go into the field for missions, but mulberry decided early on that not every department needs to follow the DMS formula that Jay and Acacia created. It's interesting to think how the PPC might look today if every department had been developed with a wildly different method for interacting with badfics.
Also, aw, Tick is so sweet for sleeping in an uncomfortable position to keep the console from going off until after Jaz finished reading! What a good partner.
Also also, I'm noticing one thing a lot of the early spin-offs seem to have in common is that . . . the characters never get described?! I know this was a very heavy self-insert era, so a lot of the authors probably weren't thinking to describe themselves in the narrative, but it kind of sucks that we don't even know what a lot of these early characters are even supposed to look like!

New, very short, mission + adoptable minis by

RC 🤘's first mission mainly serves to somewhat flesh out the agents' characters, especially Inasuke, which is why it's short and, IMO, isn't as exciting as my other missions. The later chapters of the fic are rather boring, so it wouldn't be of much use to drag the mission out longer.
Both minis, Pusheens the mini-this thing and Neko Autisumi the mini-Ritzy Bitz, are adoptable as of this writing.

The amount of times I chucked random characters into it and (very subtly) hoped my favourite would win. I didn't know there was a PPC version. I think there's also reality show simulations but that's obviously not as much fun as having characters kill each other off.

Setting it up is easy but it's just a random number generator. You just put in the names and the pictures and things run basically automatically.

You can find the four seasons of the PPC Occasional Hunger Games on my webplex, under the NTV banner. I think season 2 was a non-interactive event, season 3 was run by Sergio, and I ran 4 and 5. (Also the pictures are missing at the moment; I'll try and get them fixed someday).
How hard it is depends on how much work you put in. You can just ask for 24 or 48 agents, stick them in and post the output over a few days. You can do commentaries of more or less detail. You can ask for interview snippets (you'll probably get these regardless). You can even modify the events the generator will output - I did this in 4 to add more hatchets (the Hatchet Sponsor insisted), and in 5 I created an entire custom arena. That took a lot of work - the editor isn't super intuitive, or very forgiving - but I think it made for a great thread.
I don’t have the brainspace to run Season 6, but I will gladly contribute agents to the melee, and archive it all when the Victor is declared.

Apparently there's a Hunger Games simulator out there... by

...and we've even done stuff with it before!
Here's BrantSteele's Hunger Games simulator, a funny little website-thingo where you can run a bunch of characters (custom or not) through, well, a Hunger Games simulation! Events are randomized, characters die off through various means, and it's weird chaotic fun depending on how you run stuff - you can have Barney the Dinosaur split Optimus Prime in half with the right luck and candidates.
Anyway, so it turns out we had a PPC version of this... five years ago? Well before my time here, actually. Here's a link. There's even a bunch of interviews with the Agents competing, plus written commentary for each day to make it all come together like an actual sports broadcast of sorts. It's pretty neat!
So I guess what I'm kind of wondering at the moment is if anyone would be interested in seeing another one of these? I'm not entirely sure how the setup for these worked, but I'm willing to learn if needs be.

Constance's childhood home was pretty spacious, so I'm not sure the more crowded American Quarter would have suited her. My theory is that she was using those houses as a gateway, so that when they saw the French Quarter later on they'd (and particularly Dafydd would) be more favourably disposed. Dafydd was quite happy off in the middle of nowhere, after all!
Typo is fixed. The yellow may be a /bit/ strong, but it's true to the inspiration, and Dafydd thinks it looks like fire. :D

ANOTHER new spinoff - they're really flying out! This is the Clan of the Cactus, who will go on to be an essential piece of evidence in the history of the Takedown (oh, we'll get there). I'm not sure if mulberry was ever part of the PPC community under another name.
Clan of the Cactus: If She Was There by mulberry
With so little to go on, it's hard to search for the badfic, but I think it's long gone. I'm happy to be proved wrong. :)

This smutty reader x Woody should have been disturbing, and in some way it is, but in practice it just makes me burst out laughing at random intervals, both out of disbelief and the fact it's just that damn hilarious. None of this makes the fic any less NSFW however, so proceed with caution.
A quick summary: The fic is not a toy-as-humans AU, and neither is it stated that this is an owner-is-not-Andy AU, or whether the toys in this fic are the same ones as Andy's. In this short 3-chapter masterpiece, the female you-sue discovers that Woody the stuffed toy has somehow gotten an erection. Later that night, she has a dream in which Woody does… stuff to her. Note that it isn't stated he's grown to her size or she's shrunken to his size in this dream. In the second chapter, out-of-dream Woody becomes a jealous asshole and sends a threatening message to a guy you-sue has a crush on. She sleeps and dreams of him again, this time discovering that (dun dun DUN) she's inhabiting the body of her old Barbie doll, and the madness is too great I can't continue summarizing anymore. Just read this utter gem of a line coming from your favorite stuffed toy sheriff:
"Yep pretty much. I killed [Barbie] and used some forbidden magic or whatever to make it to where you can inhabit her body whenever you want!"
Now on a slightly unrelated note: since I have a fascination with minis, I feel compelled to ask what should Toy Story minis be?
