Good Glod, man. Sign your name, stop acting like we all hate you, and, just...
You're a part of this community! Sign your name!
I know it's a trite example, but I used to flood the 'Board with caps-lock-of-doom on a regular basis. I wasn't shunned, and as far as I know my opinion isn't automatically discounted for that. I think the ONLY time I've EVER seen people get legitimately angry on here is the time someone faked an RL death for romantic/otherwise drama. Hell, a recurring troll who turned out to be an oldbie got caustically raised eyebrows from TWO PEOPLE. No, I lie. Three. Four, tops. Point is, tempers here aren't going to flare because you may have done something rash in the past. You're a part of the community here, your opinion matters, from what I can tell you're a decent, interesting, and intelligent person, and nobody here has a problem with you still, and if they do, it's their own problem.
So, please. I know people keep telling you this, but seriously at least consider coming out of your Mask of Shame. You really don't need it.

Would Eragon count as a continuum with lightsaber-like swords, considering they're almost exactly the same concept? (Special colors, made especially for the Rider, can cut through almost anything, etc.)

Oh. If they're both headed by the same person, then why are they different departments?
They're doing Star Wars.
It was more of a joke than anything. I wanted her to somehow get to the Star Wars Academy through a strange route. Can I invoke the Rule of Funny?
Though I did think mostly they wanted to avoid other students getting excited, and I know she didn't get along with the other fangirls. So would you prefer if I said that they suggested she go somewhere else and she agreed?

Once I started thinking about it I got the urge to reread them all. Sadly, my copies are halfway across the world at the moment. -sigh-
However, due to the miracles of the internet, at least one of the books may be found here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/6964122/Magic-Faraway-Tree-By-Enid-Blyton. I don't know if it's complete or not, but it seems to start at the beginning, which is always a good start.
Hope you enjoy the party and the book!

Thank you very much! -eyes cheesecake greedily- There might not be any of that left for the guests, if we're not careful.
Enjoy the party. Cake (not the cheesecake) is on the table, with ice cream next to it, and other foodstuffs can be found scattered kind of everywhere. Drinks are also a bit scattered.

I've sort of lost hope in HP sibling-fics (ESPECIALLY twin-fics) after reading http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6094334/1/TheLifeofRosannaHathaway_Potter . When a fic starts of with "The sun was shinning," you know you're in for a rough ride.

A surprisingly okay "Harry Potter's Twin" 'fic by
on 2010-07-03 22:41:00 UTC

I was trawling the depths of the HP section of ff.net when I cam across thia fic. It takes the old and tired trope of "Harry Potter has a twin", and actually manages to do something with it that doesn't result in a Mary Sue. The twin- Katharine Potter -doesn't muck with the story (it starts out in first year), isn't all-powerful, and actually has (to me, anyways) a well-developed character that doesn't leech off Harry. Everyone's in character, there're a few ocs that are surprisingly well-written, and I found it a refreshing change from the normal drivel that has this tired trope in it.
Unfortunately, the fic's been on hiatus for a while, but at least someone made a rather good attempt at making a story like this believable.

The Bin Laden in the story isn't the real one. by
on 2010-07-03 22:30:00 UTC

The situation is really unrealistic. Bin Laden has proved a ridiculously hard enemy to catch; and the many, many Marines that have tried so far haven't managed it. Having the Stu catch Bin Laden is just not something that could actually happen; Bin Laden knows how much he is wanted and he is not the type to just go randomly walking out of buildings, without bodyguards, without protection, without disguise, without having checked for snipers.
I suggest you should have your agents go up to the dead bin Laden and find little more than a cardboard cutout, such as the sort people practice shooting at, and be disappointed that--shot by a Stu or not--he isn't real.

You're on your own with Improbable AU. There's not much at all and I've never seen a mission published in that department (though they may exist and be lost). If you want to write in that department, you'll be doing a lot of defining on your own.
Personally, I'd be in favor of moving the Department of Improbable AUs and turning it into a Division of the Department of Improbabilities (which does have missions in it), still headed by the Antigravity Apple as usual, and handling AUs as a specialty. (I'd consolidate the DoWTF into the same department as a division thereof, if I had my way about it; but of course I haven't got any good reason to do it, so there it stays; and who said the PPC had to be logical?)
You are of course aware that your reformed Sue won't be able to use her lightsaber on most missions, unless she's in the Star Wars continuum or at least in a continuum where lightsaber-like swords exist.
I'm a little worried about Elena's having come up with a Tenth Walker idea that actually made sense; more specifically, for having been expelled for it. I'm not entirely sure that OFUM would do something like that; there are, in fact, Tenth Walker stories that do make sense, with the most probable tenth walkers being Arwen, Faramir, and possibly Bilbo (though the author who did that to the poor hobbit would probably have to be some kind of sadist).
At the most, I think OFUM would say, "Okay. Write that story, and if it's crap, there are a lot of interesting ways to punish you..." And if it got uncomfortable because the story was indeed decent and Elrond ended up using the Death Glare more often because people started thinking that this meant Tenth Walker stories were just fine (instead of "treading on dangerous territory and requiring a lot of skill to ever pull off"), your agent might have put in for a transfer to a different OFUM just because she had learned enough to love LotR canon and didn't like the idea of the proliferating Suefics that might result.
Not a PG, sorry, but good luck.

At the end of the first book, when Susie fights Sneezer, there's sort of a Floating Hat effect (if that's not a trope, it should be) except it happens with a feather, since both Susie and Sneezer are wearing wings and are having an aerial battle. The feather in question is splashed with red blood, leading Arthur to think that Susie's dead until she shows up later.

Well, they would have to be in different multiverses, but given the bizarre nature of both the House and HQ, that's not all that implausible.
I /like/ that idea.
