As the title suggests, I have finished a short story for the March Madness contest (my "Madness" is signing up for the PPC in the first place). This is set in my own world, hopefully explored further soon, and imagines what the effect of magic would be on crime. I hope that it is well-written, and that you guys like it! I have uploaded the story here. Yes, I know that it is on FictionPress, and that that site is very similar to the Pit. Please don't complain. Neshomeh, if it's all right, I would like the beta reading. Don't stretch yourself too thin, though! And just for clarification, entering it here will not prevent me from using my story for my permission request, right?

Although, defiantly not for the feint of heart. We've only been going for a couple months and its pretty messy. Only a few of the details are ironed out, but if you like what you see, feel free to contribute and experiment. Ahhh, I cannot recall the washing of towels in brandy in there at all. I'll have to re-read it at some point. Obviously I knew the importance of a towel was from there though.

The answer to that question is found in the very beginning of the Mission: Shrunken heads.

You would think that such a valuable implement would be standard issue here . . .
