Actually there is a lot of really good stuff in the 80's Cartoons bits. Including a textbook example (to my mind) of how to write OCs so they are believable.
Unfortunatly the GI-Joe and TF movies have bought with them a large selection of Fanthings. Sometimes the just reading the summeries of these stories gives me the Rage!

Hey, have a lasgun. It reeks of Harkonnen, so naturaly I don't want it. Just be sure not to shoot any shields, for things quickly become quite explosive.
By the way, Im a huge fan of Battlestar Galactica. Glad to know there are more of us out there. I'm quite alone within my circles.

... discovered the Board archives cut off two months after the thread...
...googled everything I could think of...
... couldn't find it in my music folder...
... and then finally realised that the hard drive it'd be on only has a dozen PPC-related files left on it, and found the full tracklist in about thirty seconds. Once I've finished the remaining covers, I'll see about putting it on the Wiki.

Ouch. I feel your pain. Personally, I like a weak tea (two bags), left to steep for about thirty minutes in extriemly hot water (to make it strong), plenty of sugar (though honey is preferable), and then enjoyed at a leisurely pace (usually with a good book or peridocial).

This could be the reason for so many new people. I must say that it's my excuse for joining. If you don't like it, ask them to take it off. As for the picture, I figured it was something you put there. Mayhaps conjured it up.

Playing them in Winamp, which is what I use. It's a free download, and it plays just about everything.
That said... did you actually download the tracks? Because I know Box won't let you just play the .wmas and .m4as, and there is, sadly, nothing I can do about that.
Anyway, thanks! And yeah, Bear McCreary's version of "All Along the Watchtower" kicks some serious ass. I couldn't resist putting it in, even though July had used it in her mix.

I wrote an essay specifically for novice tea-drinkers: In Defense of Tea. It was originally aimed at students at my (American) college, but I believe it can apply to anyone, anywhere.
Good luck!

And after that maybe get together with some of the droogs for some of the old ultra-violence, eh, real horrorshow??
*Neshomeh, with a mad gleam in her eye, walks off stage at this point. A gunshot is heard, then a thud, then silence.*
... Yeah, no. Sorry. I couldn't let it go. ^_^;

Keep it in complete isolation and don't feed it more than the tiniest morsel per day. Say a grain of rice. They like grains. (Not feeding them after midnight probably isn't a bad idea, either.) They're basically an exercise in the Malthusian principle of population, only on fast-forward. And possibly crack.
Also, welcome, and first poke! *pokes*

I don't know, but I agree with you on Terry Goodkind. stories shouldn't be made to shunt personal polital views down people's throats. Take for example, the manga/anime series Death Note. Although it is generally about the rights and wrongs of different sorts of methods of carrying out Justice (e.g. the end-all answer of Catipal punishment), it works in that the different views are presented to you, and you pick your own team - it was mainly made for entertainment, not for discussion.
However, that manga has very few female main characters, and out of the three there were, one was manipulated and kept in ignorance of the protagonist's true feelings, while at the same time being treated like a stupid little girl; another was kidnapped and ended up with PTS disorder; and the third was manipulated sexually, kidnapped, THEN burned alive after being stripped of her clothes. Most likely all things that Terry Goodkind has already done, or will do in future.
Hmm...as for Eragon, I'll admit that I like that series alot, and that I enjoy the stories, I do believe you're right about the Gary Stu-ness. But it'll take more than two assassins to take him down, since he has a dragon.

The best thing you can do is probably to download a file converter. I have the Switch Sound File Converter, but I think iTunes does this as well.
That's what I would do, anyways.

I'm actually an Nescafe coffee fan, myself: 1 teaspoon of the granules, a splash of milk, and 3 to 6 spoons of sugar to taste, sometimes more.
I don't think I've had tea since I was 7 or 8. I'd asked for coffee, but some silly nut didn't hear right and gave me tea instead. Anyways, I was a little traumatized and haven't been able to have it since, although I will try it one day!
