Direct quote from the wiki:
"Health and Safety consists of giving new agents a few minutes training with their shiny new weaponry before throwing them at, for instance, rampaging Jedi/Amazon Sues."
...so make of that what you will.
I do know that the Nursery has a day-care-type-thing which trains the older kids up a bit, but beyond that... Well, I don't think there's too much in the way of official training. Mostly the veterans teach the newbies in a completely informal manner, often out on missions, IIRC.
Your other questions I am not so certain on, sorry.

How do agents get trained? Is there a section of HQ that's reserved for it? Class-like things?

I liked it. Though the colours are a bit off-putting and don't really fit with the background.
Honestly. The fic is giving me the creepy crawlies. What you chose to copy and paste over is completely and utterly... I can see why you wanted to kill it. :D
Script format is interesting. You're going with humour, so I'm rather enjoying it. Keep it up! I want to see how you squash it!

Bucketload of questions and questionablefic by

Okay. As a perpetual questioner...
1. Is this badfic? A friend of mine likes it. I say sic the Department of Implausible Crossovers on it.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5551303/1/OfSleepersShynessandMusic_Motifs
2. I've seen a lot of griping about in-text author's notes; what's the official standpoint on notes that are very clearly separated from the text of the story? I like them - they're sort of like those DVD extras in my mind.
3. I don't have permission and will be lacking in both permission and time for a bit, but would it be okay for me to post some characters anyway in case of roleplays and so I'll have plenty of time to work out all the problems?
4. This last one is more due to my love for weird hypothetical questions, but can anyone think of situations when things that are normally causes might not be? Like, if you were writing from the perspective of a character, and that character canonically had bad grammar, you'd have to. Same goes for urple prose.
So, uh, yeah.

Glad to meet you. I must say that I have enjoyed being on a ship the few times that I have been aboard one (though admittedly that was always a cruise ship).
I bestow upon you a Gelatinous Dodecahedron, use it well.

Wow, a sea bound person! That's pretty awesome! There's a member around here who is pretty liberal with the dispensing of boats, so that'll work.
Anyway, nice to meet you! Here is the first, or depending on how long it takes to type this and how busy the boards is today, the second or third, of many gifts, a bag of punctuation! It comes in handy. A lot.
Oh dear. I ran out of exclamation marks. Oh well, see you around.

Lurkers that introduce themselves are preferable to those that don't, right?
Bein' a long-time member of the 'People That Think the Seamanship in POTC Fanfics Should Be Slightly Realistic Club' (long name, short member roster), and havin' had some interest in the work of you fine people for a while now, I figured I should introduce myself. That way if I see something of interest to post about, nobody will be confused as to who I am. Nobody much, anyway.
I have more of an interest in history than I do nonfiction, these days, but I do enjoy pirate movies (POTC, etc.), science fiction, and Redwall.
That's all. I do have a habit of dissapearing for long periods of time, due to the fact that the internet doesn't work well out in the middle of the ocean, but otherwise I at least attempt to show up sometimes.
And that really is all, this time.

Do you have any connections to the DMSE&R? I already have enough things for my agents to collect, and don't think that giving one of them a fascination for Sue sanity would add anything (a sense that many Suethors strangely seem to be lacking). However, if there is some way to get the DMSE&R involved, we have a semi-reasonable sequence of events. Somewhat off-topic, but this discussion is reminding me of a line from a song. <singing>Lucy, please be still and hide your madness in a jar...</singing>

I've yet to start, unfortunately. I really need to get around to writing both the story and the MST that I've been planning on, but procrastination plagues me so.

Strangly, St Patrick's Day isn't that popular outside the Anglo-Saxon part of the world.
Yesterday, I typed up about 40% of what I had written so far, that came at about 2200 words. Even the long hand version isn't finished yet, but I have started to look for a point where the agents can ambuse the Stu. He's a bit of an elusive fellow, not much of the centre point of the story, but does make everyone else out of character.

...I guess I'm the assistant resident teetotaler?
Anyway, I had a couple of older, unfinished stories I was working on for March Madness, but then my hard drive decided I had too much saved on my laptop, and deleted itself--to death!
I am now working on a new story, but it will be shorter and maybe not quite as professional as it would have been otherwise. It's a little different, and I don't know that everyone will like it, but it's been fun to work on, and I hope it will still be mildly amusing.

How...why...how?
How did you even read this? Just the parts you quoted in the mission were enough to make me want to shotgun myself in the heart. Twice. You, sirs (or madams, or persons), have stomachs of tempered steel.
And now, I will go back to assuming that fic was an intentionally cracky parody, and not something the author wrote for personal enjoyment.

I personally haven't tried it for a sue's sanity. Maybe you could test it out for me.

I agree. You can do things with an OC that you would never be able to do with someone else's agent, customize them to an extent that would otherwise be impossible. Does anyone know where I can find a preferably female, not very Sueish Sue, possibly with some love of pointy daggers (I got a nice set of them from Cinnia Aine), that shows promise as an agent? It's difficult to find someone that matches what I'm imagining, but I hope that I'll be able to find someone that is close enough in a mission-worthy badfic.
Thanks for the grammar and the slang! I'm sure that the grammar will give my agents a bit of comfort in the turbulence of a badly-written story, and I'm sure that I will be able to come up with a use for the slang once I learn what it is (time to talk to my parents!)

If right to give permission is measured in a numbered scale, I'm in the negative, but I just wanted to know where, exactly, the third arm is meant to BE. Middle of the back? Middle of the front? Out of one armpit? Out of one shoulder? This I must know.
