My name is OrangeDream, I came here from TVTropes.org, and I like the idea of entering fictional universes and laying down the law. I haven't been able to get through LOTR yet (anyone know if It's public domain yet? I wouldn't mind being able to read it online), the universes I'm familiar with are One Piece, Sonic, Star Wars and of course Sonichu. one of the reasons i came here was because it owuld be interesting to see how we could take on and entire universe of mary sues instead of removing one from a regular canon.

- Under no circumstances is the Nestene Consciousness to be allowed outside the Whoniverse.
- Especially not into any 'verse with anthropomorphic plastic toys.
1062. I will not make a mega crossover of every fantasy series known.
- First, many of the continua themselves are incompatible.
- Second, the magic systems are not always compatible.
1063. I will not reverse the polarity on any PPC equipment.
1064. I will not talk anyone into playing high-stakes poker with Macavity.
1065. I will not kick a K-9.
1066. I will not fire an atomic bazooka at a Viking fleet.
1067. Daleks are not saltshakers.
1068. I will not Confund anyone on the Impossible Missions Force.

Yes, we've finally managed to get out our second mission with Cara Fielding and Miriam Collins. From Arda With Love entails a teenage Lord of the Rings Sue who makes a very interesting addition to a certain Gondorian family...

(Also, Pads, dearest and most awesome, if you happen to see this please be assured we didn't just throw you out of the window as a choice for betaing; those weird time-zone things (and certain people's warped sleeping patterns) kept playing havoc with our chances of working on it with you. And we got inspired by a desire to get it done and published.)

Why the dragon? by

The classic minis are canonical monsters which are the same for every mini. Based on that, I'd suggest make Temeraire minis the only "monster" I recall from any of the books -- the sea serpent in Throne of Jade. (Yes, I know Temeraire thought it was intelligent, but the fact remains that it's the only non-speaking draconic character in there).

Temeraire Minis by

Well, minis like the Izkierka on the book jacket of my copy of Empire of Ivory, or Islierka in a Temeraire fanfic on The Pit would clearly be the dragon. My question is what would a mini like Kayes, a misspelling of Keynes, the dragon surgeon, be? He's from the same fic as Islierka.

I think my brain just died. I don't know much about Naruto now because I haven't read it in a few years, but I'm seriously hoping that's a troll making the effort to not look like a troll. If that's a real fic, I have just lost all faith in any writer that is on the same site as that thing. I have no words for it. I'm going to go drink fifteen bottles of Bleepka now.

OT: Spamusement by

This is a hilariously funny website with comics that are inspired by the messages spambots send us. I don't mean to have a lot of OT threads, but these are just great. I couldn't stop laughing for a while after seeing a few of them. It sort of seems like a PPC-ish thing to do, in a way.

Yeah, this was a gag from one of my missions. As far as politics are concerned over there, he's still alive (no, really, freaky stuff) so I put that in as how my Agents get rid of their spam: send it to ol' Kim, paradoxically alive and dead, and who everyone hates besides.

"I don't think it's really cheating to come as you sort-of are. I mean, Kieran came as a Marlfox, and Adder here's dressed up as a wi--HEEEEEEEEEGH!"
Adder had cut him off mid-sentence by slamming her right foot as hard as she could in... yes.
"Sorry, Deuce, what was that you were about to say?" she asked sweetly.
Her partner was curled up on the ground in a fetal position, his hands over the area she'd kicked. "Nothing," he gasped out in an abnormally high-pitched voice. "Absolutely nothing."
Kieran backed away from Adder, unwittingly retreating toward Molly and Skyfire.

"Ain't gonna bother her," Laburnum said. by

"Given that about half the canon vermin sorta sound that way anyways. I mean, Ublaz pretty much crossdresses onscreen for the whole book and Blaggut was totally gay for Slipp- ow!"
Foxglove punched her hard in the arm and hissed "If you go asking her if any of the canon vermin were up to anything, I'll go back to the OFUR and tell them what you said."
"That's hardly a threat," Laburnum pointed out. "They already know what I think. Remember I told you when I was a student they broke into the dorm and filled my shoes with slugs because I was young and dumb enough to actually tell them?"
"Pervy vermin fancier."
"Yerss, yerss indeedy."
Skyfire ignored them. "And do you perchance know what happened to him?" she continued quietly, trying to cover Molly's ears at the same time. "You know, with the elaborate and horribly painful death thing?"
"Stoppit, Mama, I know," said Molly, pushing away Skyfire's paws. "I over'eard somebeast talkin' 'bout it ... well, I dunno wot really 'appened but it was summat to do wi' that word I'm not allowed to say that Aunty Laburnum yells at the console when it don't work. Wot is it agin? Oh yeah, 'f'-"
"Molly, you use that word and you're off live prey for a week!" Skyfire snapped. Molly sagged and grumbled to herself.
Meanwhile, Stormsong was explaining to Deuce. "Well, the OFUR library hath a few different versions of 'Wind in the Willows' - charming tale, almost no deaths at all for a change - and Laburnum and Foxglove insisted on showing us the one with the cast of ... something called 'Monty Python', though I saw no snakes in it. Then they insisted we wear costume for this party, and I insisted on something slightly more subtle than their chosen garb." He gestured to Laburnum and Foxglove, who were now removing the bullets from Foxglove's handguns so she could resume the Happy Gun Dance. "So we dressed as the weasels. Cheating, aye, I know."

Looking for a beta... (40k/General) by

It's a 40k humour fic, written as a response to the recent rash of "tinyhammer" rip-offs on the Pit. I'm not looking for canon-nitpicking so much as letting me know if it's dry/characters sound unrealistic/the like.
Thanks.

November. *sigh* Why does November have to be so busy? Instead, I'm doing my own personal version of WriSoMiFu. It's simpler because it only requires ten minutes a day, not about 1650 words a day.
