First it could start out as just research to find out more about how Sues work/how to kill them more easily/how close to "human" they are (since they're humanOID, but obviously not human), and the like, and then go on to that eventually? Sounds interesting, if a *really* long-term project. And no problem, glad you like the idea.

...a "Fifty Years Hence" thing for the DMSE&R on this.
Suvian Evolution should be a long-term project, then. Because if we can change a Sue-colony (theoretically speaking)'s environment, maybe they will follow natural selection until only Canon-compliant OCs like boz4PM's Penny Baker remain.
Interesting theories, aye?
Thanks for helping!

I've asked the person I based Lori off of. She thinks that she would like to do Glitter Reduction and then Glitter Withdrawal. And since most of you agree...
Glitter Reduction methods it is! Here's our choices:
Personality Dialysis (let's make it rapid and without the coma...might as well torture a few Sues in the name of science...)
Genetically Modified Vampire Bats (where would we get them?)
Antibody-G(litter)
Red Dwarf hair and other various body parts (think clean thoughts for Galadriel's sanity, please!)
Syringe with Glitter filter
Exorcism
Shall we test them all out, hmm? And we'll need test subjects. *laughs evilly* If we do Personality Dialysis, I'd love to test it out on Ebony Whatsherface from My Immortal. As revenge, you know?

And thank you, same to you! *grin* I wonder how many PTerry books started as vaguely planned out satire/parody/fantasy adventure stories.
And first person! Nice. I've always been more comfortable in third... maybe next year I'll give it a stab. I'd be very interested to see it, when's done!
Again, good luck! *grin* In thirty days, then?

All of these seem fairly interesting. Glitter decrease/withdrawal could be tied into the same experiment though. Now, I may be out of the loop here since I was last at the PPC in something like 2005, but I'd think it'd be interesting to see an experiment on what kind of conditions Sues can comfortably exist in, the strength of their immune system (gradually introducing them to more serious diseases to see how long it is until they recover, maybe?), maybe testing if they recover from injuries at a faster rate than normal people? Dissecting Sues and trying to get genetic samples to see how biologically/genetically similar to actual humans they are would definitely be something to check out, but I get the feeling you don't want to do that right away.

We were all so frustrated, we had to do SOMETHING. So we turned into a PPC manifestation.

Alright, I can do a pretty decent British/Scots accent when I try. I'll ask Trojan about it, thank you.

Right, someone linked me to it on the other board. So it's basically an RPed version of the spammer's madness, I guess. No wonder I thought it was a joke, it reads like it was basically the PPC vs. its own cafeteria food.

Redd's English (well, Mossflowerian), so if you can do a reasonable Brit accent you might be in time to do him.

...to find ways to stop Mary Sues other than killing them. Maybe with our research we can recruit more "kind-hearted" people who don't quite fancy killing people. Even if the victim is a Sue.
It was mentioned in the DMSE&R wiki.
