So which ones d'you like? I became mildly (okay, extremely) obsessed with Tunnel in the Sky around third or fourth grade. (I think I even created some fic in my head but abandoned it within a few hours. Such was the workings of my mind in those days. :P)

A ypur, actually, is a blue yak in appearance, with extremely spiky horns and a taste for sausages. Spambot sausages they like the best, since they were born from a troll's misspelling of "your". How that happens I really have no idea. o.o

It's set during the quest, I think. I say 'I think' because the ring seemingly doesn't matter because they all abandon Frodo and the quest to save Legolas who gets raped by his father only to be told Thranduil wasn't his father at all and Elrond is his true father. Also Legolas and Aragorn leave with Angel and Willow for earth to help their world. The beta should be taken out and shot for all the errors in this monstrosity. There are just not enough words to describe how awful it is!

Have you checked out the PPC Wiki yet? It has quite a lot of useful information for anyone involved with the PPC. Also, read The Original Series (not to be confused with Star Trek) if you have time.

You say you don't like slash? What about canonical homosexuality? Or fics set several years after the canon ends, when the characters could plausibly have entered into a relationship with someone?
