It was either my Floaters team or my DMS-VG one, but there are some spoilery things I'd rather not risk revealing with the latter, marriage aside obvs, plus I don't think that cringe-fest you linked there has a Sue to begin with. For the sake of simplicity, I could have just Lilac help out with this one, since I'm busy with Real Life as it is and would probably be best suited as a beta reader with just one of my characters included. That and, well, the poor girl just needs to show up more IMO. :P
My e-mail is clickable if you're interested in bringing me in. I've played Undertale all the way to the Pacifist ending and know the lore well enough, though I haven't looked into Deltarune just yet (I do wish to, though). If I somehow miss any canon knowledge, though, I can always use the wikia to help with that!

Looking for a collaborator by

You might or might not know I got Permission recently, and now I'm looking to write my first mission! I'd like to start by collaborating with someone more experienced. The fic I've got in mind is short, but probably qualifies as bleepfic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/16490759 (NSFW, NSFB, Undertale spoilers). Thanks for all your help!

I have seen more copies of Uncle Chuckles rendered little more than shattered husks than I care to remember. But it's still funny. Just in a slightly different way.

Derik and Gall aren't married. by

Not as of the present, anyway. I don't think they had any time to think about it before they were suddenly very involved and, by the way, expecting a child. {= P
Maybe in the future, with Gadrik a little older; I dunno. Derik lived in a Weyr long enough that he probably doesn't have that expectation, or need it, but he's just enough of a romantic to think about it. Gall probably doesn't care at all, but on the other hand, it's an excuse for a big party with her and her man in the spotlight. It could happen!but they might be expecting another baby by then

I was privileged to see this as a work-in-progress. I loved it half finished, and I love it all finished. ^^
I have just now noticed the detail on Charlotte's blouse, which either wasn't there before or wasn't high enough res for me to see. Very nice! I like Christianne's dress, too.
I love all the light in this picture. The stars, the platforms, the windows of the city, all of it. It's magical.
One anatomy tip, which I apologize for not catching much sooner: male-bodied folks tend to have hips narrower than their shoulders, with more rectangular-shaped torsos. (Triangular, even, if you're ever going for the exaggerated, super-buff action hero type.) Female-bodied folks tend to have a curvier shape, which you've got down really well, and narrower shoulders than male-bodied folks; their hips may be wider than their shoulders. Ix is presenting the most masculine lines in this picture, which seems to be what they're going for with their choice of clothes, so that's good. ^^
I like the second picture, too. It was pretty much instantly recognizable for what it is. Is Connie gonna use that sash to strangle her partner, I wonder? {; P

As I am no art critic, all you're getting from me is praise - and I do like the color scheme of those literal-dance-squares. Were they modeled after anything in particular?

The point of clowns is to make people laugh, right? In this, Uncle Chuckles is doing his job as a clown. Just because he's been cursed with eternal failure doesn't mean he can't be funny doing it, right?

It's got a fantastic sense of time throughout it - the composition really draws your eye up with the central element.
Also, given the amount of veteran combatants and professional knife-wielding maniacs frequenting the place when they absolutely do not want to be disturbed, I cannot help but feel that Club Aujourd'hui has the best security in the entire city.
And also that there should be a bar over the road called Somehand, because puns are best bilingual. =]

And after you pointed out the bit about three of the four couples having major disfigurements, I’m starting to think that might be a requirement to get married in the PPC.
I’m absolutely loving the color choices in both the pictures. That night sky especially is gorgeous.
(I haven’t forgotten the New Cal art, I’ve just been hit with a case of real life, I swear...)

PPC fanart plug. by

"I know," I thought, as the discussion of the PPC city in New Caledonia wound to a close, "I'll make a colour image of Club Aujourd'hui, the city's famous nightclub. How hard could it be?"
Let me put it this way: you now get to fastforward a month. I didn't have that option.
(Full size version: DeviantArt / Imgur; actually these are both still half-sized versions, good grief)
Featuring some of HQ's most prominent couples: Christianne and Eledhwen (the famous "will they/won't they" couple), Ix and Lottie (Ix striking what is probably the worst possible pose for her leg/post-surgical scars), Derik and Gall (Gall's pregnancy puts this somewhere around the beginning of this year), and Dafydd and Constance (who are constitutionally incapable of staying out of photos).
The fact that three of the four couples include one person with permanent disfigurement is entirely unintentional and hilarious.
Also appearing: the city's famous clock tower, and 'hey I should draw an accurate view of the Milky Way from New Cal!'. ... yeah.
Plus! A bonus second fanart piece, done in pen/pencil in the space of a single day. Set during an unrecorded mission by Dafydd and Constance into the animated Aladdin canon, I like to call it 'This is why Dafydd shouldn't be allowed to set the disguises':

Along with writing furiously, we also spend a lot of time talking about the pieces and providing crit. I really appreciate your crit-giving skills, and I'd love to have you there for that, even if you don't participate in the writing!

Fellowship of the Ring came out in December '01, and the first known PPC spinoff dates to March 15th, 2002. (Taken Far Too Literally can't be counted, because the PPC only shows up later on.) So the origins of the PPC fall between those dates.
So yeah; we're old!

I don't know the exact date, but it was sometime in 2001, before May 11th, and soon after the LOtR movies came out. So we've been at this for 17.5 years.

Besides, Nesh is right. This fic shouldn't be glorified the way, for instance, My Immortal is - that one is pretty harmless, and a very entertaining read. Agony in Pink is just awful, without any redeeming qualities.

I have another Tolkien mission queued up, and it is *quite* bad this time. There's rape and sexual abuse portrayed in the worst possible manner, and enough canon-mangling to power HQ for a month. Anyone willing to sit through that and help me edit this mission would have my eternal gratitude.
