One thing I've been watching lately is Battle For Dream Island. It's an elimination-centric gameshow-style animation series where twenty animate inanimate objects duke it out in contests to avoid getting voted off by the viewers and make it to the end, where, hopefully, they'll win a dream island resort. While it does start out rather childish (it was made by two kids after all), even the first season is decently-written with good characterization, and it gets better as the show goes on (although some of the latest episodes feel kinda lackluster). There are technically four seasons, but the second season sputtered out after ten episodes and the third only got one, so it's not as much to watch. It also inspired leagues and leagues of similar "object shows" that I haven't watched – maybe you can check them out.

...I feel like tagging this post with "Introduction" isn't the best idea, since this isn't your first post on the Board.

I thought of it more as “the word ‘edited’ has, for some reason, been removed from the blue block in edited posts” than “a blue box with the word edited in it has been replaced with a plain blue box”. Technically, both of those things happened, but I think that gets my thought process across more easily.

Hmm... Does it count as a songfic if the songs are being sung by characters onstage? I'm probably not going to be able to upload it to the Pit anyway, as the script format is likely to work better, but you never know.

Really, this sounds good, if it's pulled off properly - and seeing as the PPC intends to support good writing, I assume you can pull it off pretty well. I have high hopes for this, and I think you should get on it whenever you can.

At this point, I'd like to point you back towards The Constitution, with a gentle but firm reminder that yes, misgendering people, even when they aren't present, is pretty solidly discriminatory.

The Muppet Show is no stranger to dark comedy, so: Marvin Suggs learns that the guest star absolutely adores My Little Pony, all generations. He tries to hammer out a medley of MLP songs on the Muppaphone, but starts with "We're Gonna Make You Sorry". Oops. The poor creatures are fed up, and take vengeance. There could be a follow-up Veterinarian's Hospital sketch with Suggs as the patient.

Oh, sorry! I do realize that Sonichu is a huge part of Chris-chan's identity, but I'm used to being in areas where people do make fun of it often (like the CWCki, where I've made a few edits - nothing major, though, so I can still try harder to not make fun of him here than I would if I had been editing for years.)

I do want to mention, we have a general rule of thumb not to make fun of Sonichu here. The self-insert hedgehog is too tangled up in the author's identity, and we have a (much more official) rule to only mock stories, not the authors who wrote them. Just letting you know! : )
