It's traditional for all us Boarders to give gifts to newbies. It started years ago as a game of poke-the-newbie, so people would write "First poke!" Then it branched out into actual gifts, and Tawaki always gives plovers. We all have one - somewhere :)

We, The Protectors of the Plot Continuum, do hereby, in the name of all free beings in multiverse, solemnly publish and declare our intentions:
To fight and oppose Sue Authors by any and all means at our disposal.

I'm supposing you were contacted because of the discussion we had on the IRC last night. We (then again, I didn't add much to the conversation...) concluded that PPC-style fics are fanfiction like any other, so we can't go shooting all non-Boarder, PPC fic writers in the face. However, the outliers should be linked to the Boards since many might not know of them. So you're not in trouble...yet. *evil laugh*

Enjoy your stay, and have a multi-purpose pineapple. Good for emergency rations when sliced or diced, and it makes a great blunt weapon when cornered.

No one is going to jump down your throat for writing a PPC-style fic. There are plenty of other organizations out there doing much the same thing. What we do care about is your total geekiness, which we love.

Also, the PPC is about more than just killing Sues. We handle all manner of badfic. You lost me at "disguises are for losers." If it was meant to be a joke, you missed the mark.

To be frank, I wasn't terribly enchanted with the agents to begin with. I grant you that "humorless" can be funny, but I'm not seeing it in the writing sample; also, even the possible humor value of trying to get a large man into Stormtrooper getup was circumvented in a boring and deus-ex-machina-esque way. Anyway, how is a sixty-year-old man going to keep up with sixteen-year-old super-powered Sues and cope with the systemically taxing effects of badfic? Him having the mental age of a ten-year-old does not make it better; rather, it's kind of offensive. A special needs person does not a good agent make.

I just don't see their stories being very fun to read as it is, nor in keeping with the spirit of the PPC. Please give it some extensive thought and try again later.

I'm also a fan of Star Wars (I have a role-playing character in that world who I've been writing for two years), Sky High (Warren Peace. Squee ^_^), and perhaps surprisingly, Pokemon. First videogame I ever played, and still playing it now *looks sheepishly down at DS*
