The PPC Presents: A Day Off

Kelok gets a day off while his partner is in Medical. He meets fellow agents, becomes acquainted with special features of HQ, receives a visit from a new friend, and has a chat with the Floating Hyacinth. Sounds like a good day, right? Of course, this is the PPC.

Having seen the movie since the previous discussion and now, I definitely appreciate what you've written a good bit more. It's rather good - provides a lot more context than the original, even if it has yet to diverge very much.

Shouted Kyoki, "I don't see many left and I just heard the Board's been cleared. Leave the rest of the cameras and just start cleaning out the remnants!" Ducking down, she started picking out her smaller bombs.

Some of you my remember my topic where I expounded my desire to write... or rather, rewrite a version of Cameron's Avatar. There was.. a bit of debate, but I am glad to inform everyone that the first chapter of this project is now up on the Vole Pit, and hopefully soon on Livejournal.

It isn't Canon... but it takes the story in other directions: all the pieces are there, but are arranged a little differently.

Just got finished on the first leg of my next big fan-fic project.

I've been busy getting settled in and the like the past couple days, so I haven't had time to really lay out the e-mail, but I'll be sending it ASAP.

The flames had burned themselves out - there wasn't much to burn around there - and after the bombs and hairspray, there seemed to be enough bot-less space immediately around the bunker that she could dare it. These bots didn't move that fast.

Elemarth had never been a daring person, but the PPC changed boarders as well as agents. She took out some of the cameras to have a lighter sack, then ran out from her cover.

There were dead bots disturbingly close to the bunker. She jumped over one and put up the first camera, hoping that the people on the roof would at least warn, if not cover, her if any bots came near. But the bombs must have kept them back for the moment. She dashed back to cover and looked around before going out again.

I won't say "told you so" if it comes back. I won't say it very loud, anyways.

Anyone mind if I make a "yay! It's over!" post over there? Or shall we wait for you, Dann?

Well, it depends on your definition of youself. Being too accustomed to exhibiting a 'fangirl' attitude, I'll suppress all the bootlicking and simply say that anyone that has worked as much as you have on their missions is amazing.

Add to that the fact that you're a Narnia fan...

I was going to wait for later tonight just to be sure, but it would seem that the bot has given up for this year. It usually posts between 10 and 11 PM, my time, and did not do anything last night that I could see.

'Or we could join the fray, if you like.' Pretzel got to her feet after carefully shutting down her laptop. 'I've got some weapons if you need them.'

I'm curious to know whether they've stopped on their own or whether an end has been put to them. Or if the messages are just being deleted still.

There's nothing saying you can't continue it. Actually, there's a history of using this board for RPs even when the main Board isn't being attacked by spam.

Niely shouted to Elemarth. She rummaged though her bag and pulled out to cans of hairspray with lights duct-taped onto them in a way that made it that if you turn on the lighter it would turn on the hairspray too.

Aiming both at the general direction of the spambots, she turned on the lighters and let a large wave of flames rip over the bots while letting out a scream of glee that would concern any sane person, not that there were any in the area.

the old Board seems to have stopped with the spam now and sems habitable again.

"I...see." Lleu considers this news for a moment. "So we just kind of sit here and wait for the attack to be dealt with?"
