Oh yeah, and tell Miss Cam to prepare herself,
because there's a whole battalion of mini-Balrogs
coming her way. Eldorna, Agaorn, Frandiul ('scuse me, frandiul)
and all their little friends can't wait to meet her.
Poor thing.

Dear Boarders of the PPC,
Something I forgot to mention in my last message.
The story 'Heart of Legolas' (or 'HeartLeg') is still hosted on ff.net.
I suggest you tackle that one, because unlike the MSTed version,
it contains... lyrics.
*shudder*
Anyway, happy hunting!

More monstrous LOTR fics by

Dear Boarders of the PPC,
While casually surfing on the Internet, I accidentally came across the stuff of nightmares.
The website hikaness.deep-ice.com/fics hosts MSTed versions of ten (yes, ten!) horrendous LOTR fics
that have not yet been killed, some of them so bad that they make 'legolas, by laura' (which is on there too) look like a masterpiece.
Yes, I am serious, and no, I am not on drugs.
It's all in there: Legomance, Hobbitmance, self-insertions,
'Sues aplenty, underaged sex, massive OOC-ness, extra daughters of Elrond, the works.
For the sake of sanity and the love of Tolkien, lay the smackdown on those horrors before they can do any more damage.
Sincerely,
Sister-to-the-Queen

How can I reasonably ask you to not rant when I start ranting? That's hypocritical. So, yeah, I take it back. I think the second book in the series was snakecharm

With specific regards to Harry Potter, one of the reasons for name translation, at least of Voldemort's name, is to maintain the anagram ("Tom Marvolo Riddle" —> "I am Lord Voldemort"). Thus, in French, he's "Tom Elvis Jedusor" to allow for "je suis Voldemort".
But "Voldemort" doesn't change, even though it actually means something in French.

Searching for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Card Captor Sakura crossovers (they tend to be quite good, the only one nonsense is on that can be summarized in "Hayate gropes Sakura at the hot springs", that is actually in character for Hayate) I found this TvTropes page (TvTropes page quite safe both for work and brain, fic... well... I think NOT):
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/FanFic/TakamichiNanohaOf2814
Mini in the title. Mega-crossover. And this is only the beginning. I didn't read it yet since I didn't had the time, and I do not know some continuums well. But such a... thing has to be stopped, so if somebody helps me I'll take it. Cannot let badfic with Sakura in it exist without being sporked.
Somebody can serve me a Sonic Screwdriver?

about shapeshifters, um, can't remember the name right now, but no, there was a girl/girl pair. But I agree with Xanthia, it's rather risky.
Please don't rant. I might rant too. Have you read some of the disgustingly trollerlike things people post as fanfiction for the Bible? Are there any like those ones on the Torah or Koran/Qu'ran? No.

It would have to be fairly obviously lampshaded, though, especially if we're going to go for an episodic format, so there might be new viewers for every episode. It would be fairly easy to just have a throwaway line like "Oh, this always hurts my eyes" or something, though.

Chliever is a true boarder. If a troll has stolen his name, deserves to be roased ad served to Minis. Or maybe Chliever has some sort of problems with his computer.

Ok, there are 3 possible things.
One, the guy has a malfunctioning keyboard. Buy a new one.
Two, he wrote in a language with another alphabetic system. Sorry, can you write in English?
Three, a troll. You're in the wrong place. We mock trolls. They make us laugh.

...I think that the world's still sort of shying away from the idea of homosexuals on earth. It's a rather touchy subject in some religions, and even in some countries. So I think that maybe there's something that makes authors think, "Oh, maybe nobody will read it."
Personally, I haven't really noticed anything about homosexuals in fiction. Maybe it's because I'm neutral about it. But maybe someone with more reading experience can tell you about some novels. I can suggest 'Tipping the Velvet', but it's a historical piece.

How might we have improved the time-travel to make it easier to follow? It is not that I am planning to do anymore time-traveling with these agents, but it is always good to know.

Sorry I haven't been posting in a while, but here's my next installment. The fic is ABSOLUTELY NSFW, and though I tried to keep the gross things in the realm of implication, the Mission is borderline, too.
Thanks to Neshomeh for being my beta and to all of you. With your help, I really think I've improved as a writer.
