I do believe there is a vampire working for the PPC. But I could be mistaken; too much people to keep track of. Particularly when we keep different office hours.
Anyway, welcome. As a gift I present you with a cow. One of my agents had it while on mission, but it got too big for their response centre.

...after all, we do have portal technology.
However, no-one I know has ever woken up in Runescape, so take heart!

The main reason I'm debating letting my sanity go is that the last time I did that, I spent two years on Neopets.
Not that they weren't two years interspersed with some of the best and most intelligent friends I've ever had, who taught me the importance of grammar on the 'Net, but still. I don't want to wake up in Runescape or summat.
Thank you for the lembas, though. I'll have to store this for midterms later this week.

Don't worry, all the best china got broken *years* ago.
And we have a basket by the door for sanity, please feel free to leave yours there. You'll find you won't need it here :D

Hello, all, NovaKrazny here. I was made aware of the PPC about two weeks ago thanks to TVTropes and I've just been dawdling around since. Didn't feel confident enough to be posting, though (that and this chat format is honestly terrifying to a mind that's been drugged on Proboards and its ilk pretty much since getting on the 'Net).
Guess that changed now. I'm fascinated enough by what's been started here that I've decided to stick around; help with the Wiki, make some friends, maybe even write a story (though that possibility is, of course, a month off at the minimum). In the meantime, I promise to be polite, to use good spelling and grammar just as I was taught, and to not drop the good china.
Might look into that insanity thing the Constitution mentioned sometime, too. My best friend tells me it's one heck of a ride.

the students are doing this as part of *class*; they presumably have no choice in the matter. Why can't people *think* before they write?

Lycaenion, actually. by

Anyway, it's possible to say that the "babies" do not actually exist, but standard PPC policy for infants in badfic is to bring them to the Nursery to be raised as Agents. Dunno if it's ever been anything else, but that seems to be current policy.

...it believe that the original purpose of the PPC was for comedy. There was no Grim Dark, there was only the snarky and generally lighthearted elimination of Mary Sues.
Because that's what this is all about. Lightheartedness. Having fun. Sometimes there is no need for Grim Dark or excessive drama.

This is the PPC, not Warhammer 40,000. by

Though now I want to make an Agent with the motto, "There is no such thing as goodfic, only degrees of bad". But still, killing babies is just too much. It's reprehensible enough that I think the Agent that did it could very well be kicked out, if not just hunted down. Besides, it'd just be more interesting if you thought of another way, and Lycaenion's claimed this fic anyway. Also, the tone honestly depends on whose spinoff you're reading. You can be more cynical in tone without resorting to baby killing.

Destruction of towns and planets is still on the menu. And my view is that we're a bit too light and soft. Where's the Grim Dark?
Seriously though, they're only the good guys because the Sues would destroy everything if they weren't killed. Overall, the PPC saves more lives than it takes. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Random silliness for Star Wars and/or LotR fans. by

My boyfriend just showed me this YouTube video: Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it).
It's funny on its own, but what really struck me was the way she got most of the important stuff, but with a few additions and omissions--kind of like Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings." It seems to me that this video could be a useful teaching tool for explaining to non-Tolkien fans why some of us don't like the movies so much. ^_~

Overly predictable. Just turn them in to the nursery. Figure something else if you want an Agent to be so evil. Which wouldn't really work because, on a multiversal scale, the Agents are supposed to be the good guys. At least relatively. :P

If you really think about it, since magic cannot create life, then the babies aren't really babies, they aren't human.
