Trojie and I are about to tackle "Pathways" (listed with linkage on the claimed badfic list). It's hideously wrong and Sueish, but we have the slight problem that Trojie doesn't know the canon at all, aside from the fact that there's a bearded bloke with dreads whose attractiveness we argue over on a regular basis, and my knowledge of the canon isn't exactly as detailed as it could be, as I've only seen seasons 2 and 3 once, and 4 not at all. So, is there anyone out there who knows the SGA canon and would be willing to have a quick flick through the fic with me and do some detailed charge-spotting? It's not long and not graphic.

Oh, definitely. But not for a while I think and not till someone 'In Charge' has cleared it. I'm the kind of person who never does anything without absolute permission.

Do you contribute?

I'm interested in the Tamora Pierce continuum, Jane Austen (I didn't believe it, but they've got their own share of bad fic) and I'll do anything else really, as long as I know the book/movie/tv show.
But I think I'll wait around a bit just to see how everyone else is doing it. Don't want to make any mistakes, right.

And thanks for the gift. I will treasure it forever (I'd do one of those smiley faces here, but I still haven't figured out how).

...probably let word of mouth take care of it unless it's really immediately a case of the agent blowing the place up or, eg, running around with a flamethrower...

We do have a Troll Department, but it's rather defunct and no one's sure exactly what it does.

Sometimes other departments will take trolls. (I think someone did legolas by laura.)

Check the lists of Slain and Claimed Badfic on the wiki, skim through the mission archives, and so forth. But if you're pretty sure no one's done it, then go ahead.
