I'm sorry for going silent, but I'm in the middle of moving from the dorms to Nanny Family's house, so it's been a sudden stressful time. I'll be settled in on Friday, so hopefully I can pop something up by then!

I'm going to be away from the computer all next week, so if anyone wants to try and finish off this story, you have my unequivocal blessing to redact either or both of my last two parts. Part 5 was written almost entirely before I had Zing's notes, so doesn't really follow what she intended; and this one may well rush things overmuch. So feel free to replace them (and reuse any parts you feel like - I'm not precious about them).
I'd really like to see this finished, so hopefully someone can pick it up and run with it. :)

-I recognise your name; something to do with the Shipfest springs to mind? Anyway, it counts.
-Alantha seems... fine? Fine. One question: why Floaters? The two stories you've linked both seem like they'd go to Bad Slash (potentially Bad Het division, your summaries don't make it clear). If that's the kind of story you want to focus on, why not put her there instead? The Queen Anne's Lace is always recruiting (and actually seems more likely to send her agents on errands than the Hyacinth, from what I remember of them).
-Recruitment prompt looks good. I feel like it's been ages since I've seen Suzine. (I also feel like the Marquis 'I don't really care' was a reply both to the question, and to Alantha introducing herself; he'll quite happily just refer to her as 'you' and 'that agent with the head-branches' whenever he's forced to remember her. ^~)
-The creative prompt amuses me. I'm not sure about Lux getting involved in a prank war, but Lux is a bit 'all things to all people', so it's certainly plausible. You've clearly been paying attention to the details - a few people have sent their agents into the Canon Library, which has left the Librarian quite put out.
I don't think Makes-Things would engage in a madcap chase of a random agent who'd been poking around his lab - he's spent far too many years on the job to get so worked up about it. If you choose to keep the prompt as canon, I think you should change him out for a different technician. But that aside, the sequence worked well.
There was one very bizarre moment when Alantha starts running and then attempts to take her dress off; I don't read agent bios before the stories (to get an unvarnished view of what you actually write), so I took that at face value: she was taking off her main item of clothing. Tweaking that sentence to make it clear it's an over-dress would fix that. (It's possible that 'chiton' is supposed to imply that? I only know the word from Ancient Greek fashion, so I couldn't say.)
Overall I'm going to go ahead and say Permission Granted. Well done! You made me chuckle (I was wary when you started sprinkling footnote markers around, but then I got to the footnotes themselves, and... yeah. ^^), and I think the PPC could use a bit of the madcap energy you've shown in parts of your writing.
In addition to 'why Floaters', I would like to ask whether Alantha will have a partner in her first missions, and if not, whether you've considered the fact that you'll either be light on dialogue, or have her talking to herself a lot. (And if she will have a partner, is there a reason you left them out of this request?)

PS: 'Sleep Mellon'. -_- That sound you hear is a half-dozen Elvish agents crying out in horror. ~hS

There's some classics, of course, for which I am not responsible:
The Shipverse, origin of the good Agent Luxury and usual host of the shipfest. In which all your wildest PPC OTPs can (with author consent) come true. Simultaneously.
The Mirror Multiverse, in which the Enforcers of the Plot Continuum subjugate universes and purge fanfic for any deviation from Canon, no matter how trivial. I've sketched up a Mary-Sue Foundation, who use their glitter powers to defend creativity and originally and goodfic - they're the smartest, powerfulest, best people for the job, of course!
And a few for which I take the blame:
World War Sue, a world where all stories are true, where if you fly far enough, you can leave the familiar continents and find yourself over Narnia, or Westeros. In which the Royal Plottish Air Force flies Spitfires and Hurricanes to defend the isle of Plot from the conquering Sue. Mostly an excuse to deeply confuse Jacques Bonnefoy with people who insist that he's definitely their Group Captain and is this some sort of test, sir?
The Pirates of the Plot Coast. As labeled, really. Ships, swords, cannons, and swashbuckling.
The AU Where Everyone's Dragons, because someone linked the Flight Rising dragon generator thing in Discord and we all played around with making our agents as dragons.

The Transfictional Canonical Defence Authority was created by Pieguy, not by me. I just took it and ran with it (and ran, and ran...).
Also, you absolutely should, because Steampunk Space Marine in the Citadel has just become the most necessary thing ever.

New mission! (Peregrin and Taq, DMS; Harry Potter) by

About eight years after I got Permission to write for the PPC, I've finally written a mission!
"The Heir of the Phoenix" (and also on GDocs), in which Peregrin and Taq deal with a phoenix princess Sue who replaces Hermione and is Fawkes's daughter.
Thank you to Calliope and Iximaz for betaing!
Feedback in very much appreciated, though I'm fine with "I liked it but can't think of much to say at the moment" and things like that as responses.

I wrote a story for this prompt that I didn't quite submit in time for Cal's Big List, but it requires a bit of context. All the stories in this series have links to the Heather and Will hub at the end, so if you're reading Heather and Will 3: St. Ulfern's Monastery, but don't know what's going on or who anyone is, you can check the hub link.

A vaguely unscheduled all write has happened! Everyone had good submissions once again, and hosting this was an absolute blast.
The prompt was: "You're going to steal Hell."
As for the pieces from the moment:
Hell to Pay, by Mikelus
Martin's Adventures in Hell, by Thoth
Possibly a Massive Mistake, by Cicada
The sultan is annoyed by the plot, by darklordaakmal
"Abandon all hope" is inscribed on the Gate for a reason, by Athena
Azathoth!, by Larfen
In Michigan For The Last Time, by Delta Juliette
Stealing Hell, by Calliope

Question from a curious PPC reader by

If it's alright to ask, I've been wondering - whatever happened to PitViperofDoom's works? It seems that their missions and agent pages have been expunged from the wiki, and I haven't been able to uncover any particular reason why? Just a curiosity - if it's not my place to ask then I quite understand, and I apologise.

I have one idea: PPCswap, where the general dynamics of pairs of characters (like agent duos) are reversed. I'm still not sure what would change in each character and what would remain the same, but it could lead to interesting combinations.
Pretty much any inkling of an idea you had at 3:00 AM in the morning when you were supposed to be sleeping goes here.
