Like Tira said, your writing still suffers from what the pony fandom calls "Lavender unicorn syndrome." It's OK to refer to your characters by name most of the time and by the appropriate pronoun most other times.

-"...Not!Luigi apparently had the Scrappy ability, allowing his Fighting-type moves to hit Ghost-types;..."
Um...no. If he's in the Smash Bros. verse, Backslash should be dealing with the Not!Luigi fight as a Shulk clone, not as a Honedge gijinka. Same goes for the realization about No Guard and Green Missile equating to a Body Slam (by the way, it's much closer to a Skull Bash or Headbutt).

-"The humanized Sword Pokémon slammed into the opposite all, and before he could raise his Monado to defend himself, Not!Luigi had begun pummeling him..."
One, opposite wall. Two, "Not!Luigi began pummeling him...". Three, Backslash has a name (of sorts), so please use it.

-"“Why not just use Amiibos? Surely they’d be harder to distinguish from the actual canons, if only we could get them to work like they do in the games.”"
I like your thinking! Good luck getting them to the PPC, though; amiibo (note the lowercase a) are in pretty high demand throughout World One, as far as I know. Also, given what the crash dummies go through, your solution might be a little too expensive for comfort.

Heh-heh, maybe I should've taken you up on beta-reading this after all. XD Seriously, thank you for doing this mission, and I look forward to your master plan for Falchion and co.
