Sorry for snapping at you, but I'm still a little sick, and wiki BS two days in a row is frustrating enough without having to stop the sky falling, too. This is fixable. Please remain calm.

1. We apparently got reported for having pages about "non-notable living people" (e.g. badfic authors). Such pages are not permitted per Fandom's Community Creation Policy, and have been deleted by a FANDOM staff member. That's fine, we were moving in that direction anyway.

2. For some reason, the Christopher Paolini page also got deleted??? This is not fine. I'm querying the staff member about it.

3. The Rose Potter page was deleted for "NSFW descriptions of underage sex." Fine: we can edit that and restore it. We'll need a new page image, though, since apparently super-stylized cartoon nakedness is too "obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, [or] profane" for FANDOM now. (If doctorlit would like to say "I told you so" at this time, I won't get mad. {= P )

4. The Celebrian (badfic) page was deleted for an unspecified "Terms of Use violation." Not fine. I can guess what the problem is, but I'm querying the staff member about it on principle.

I'm also asking:

• To be pointed to FANDOM's guidelines about what constitutes NSFW content/images (if one actually exists; I'm not aware of any).
• For confirmation that we're allowed to have pages about our own community members, since the CCP states "What is acceptable will vary depending on the type of community," and our own members ARE notable to us.

The takeaway:

• No more pages about badfic authors, period. (Again, we were moving in that direction anyway. This is fine.)
• We need to be a little bit more careful about how much detail we include about NSFW subjects, especially where it concerns underage characters. People can be prudish little babies about sex sometimes, but fine.
• We are NOT in danger of having the wiki deleted. Jesus Christ.

These pages had the same content that that lead TV Tropes to almost die, so I'm a bit afraid.

Which means our wiki is in danger of being shut down.

Some of them were kinda pointless, like the Chaser Wolf page. But now the Celebrian and Rose Potter pages have been deleted.

I think we need to fix this.

Still haven't bought either one (expensive LEGOs, my preciousss..., stupid Danish VAT) but I would definitely like to!

I figured I’d post the plan on the Board as well so it doesn’t get lost in chat.

The way these work is that, at the appointed time, we all take half an hour to just write something. Typically, this was done with a prompt that got revealed when the Write-Off started, but I figured we could change things up a bit and jsu Nova’s list instead to see how that goes.

Afterwards, we go around and take turns posting what we wrote and reviewing each other’s work.

If you can’t make the time (especially on this one), there’s no problem with doing the writing at some other time.

She had already recognized that her main motivation for not wanting fanfiction was an overreaction, and her passing rendered it fully moot. As such, I believe the quarantine can be respectfully lifted.

Do keep in mind that I'm not in the fandom or have much knowledge about the canon, but this thing here seems to have all the makings of a classic Wattpad badfic, set in the Vampire Chronicles universe. Here's a sample:

After I went and sat on the couch in the living room with a mug filled with hot tea. I turned on the TV. A scream broke out of it and Le stats pale gorgeous face appeared again. It was on MTV, one of his music videos were on. Goose bumps crawled all over my skin. Then that's when a new thought came in. What if I went to the vampire club where he goes to, tonight? My mom wasn't going to be home for another 3 days. Why not? I had my license to drive. A car and my brain. It was a Friday night, no school the next day. But let's face it people if you’re going to go to a vampire club, hide out, alone. Then you’re probably crazy, not thinking strait. I clearly wasn't thinking strait at the time. Or any time after it.

Anne Rice will be removed from the quarantine list, stat. Have fun protecting your favorite hawt vampires.

Imagine all the hawt vampire badfics out there that can be sporked…

I love the LEGO-fied paintings in the Rivendell set. And those trees! And all the little details generally. This was made by nerds who care. ^_^

The Balrog is SO cute! I want one, yes yes.
