Welcome, fans of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum and supporters of the Canon Protection Initiative! If you've got a story to plug, an opinion to share, or a discussion you want to join in, this is the place!
If you're looking for PPC stories to read, why not start with The Original Series – the missions of the famous assassins Jay and Acacia, the very first stories in PPC history. Once you've finished them, check out the list of Killed Badfic to find a mission you like the look of, or The Complete List of PPC Fiction to look up specific agents or departments.
Before you join the fun, there are some important links you should know about. Being familiar with these will save you a lot of hassle!

Problem is David Null isn't in the PPC yet. So he can't be used.
Apologies on my part! You can still use one of my other agents, though, such as O'Ryan Keys. He would have a scythe. Still shiny. He has a wiki page, but I'm currently editing the Sporkamol page so I can't link to it yet.

The interlude takes place in early July 2021, so that would mean Paye is still his partner, yes? I mean, if it comes up.

I have a piece about half done which places the race on the Muéo River; it's the closest river to the city, is shallow and crystal-clear, is only swamped with mosquitoes sometimes, and is nicely out of the way (unlike, say, the beaches).

Since the universe of the fanfiction Sergio and Nikki are from still existed, they moved there after retiring (in Japan, to be exact) and raised Keiko there. She was completely oblivious to the fact they had been PPC agents until after her own first mission.
My headcanon for the rowboat race (which I assume took place in New Cal?) is that Sergio and Nikki took advantage of the fact Keiko was still very little, and made sure to travel through portals while she was asleep for her afternoon nap. As a child, she wouldn't find even non-human Agents weird, and growing up she shrugged those memories off as her own imagination coupled with maybe some teams taking part in the race in costumes just for the heck of it.
For once, all according to her parents' plan!
-- I've been kicking around the concept of a kid-centred sitcom-style spinoff about Muriel Shieh's misadventures in New Caledonia, and would love to have any next-gen or just generally young character who's in HQ or New Cal in 2021. This goes for more than just Keiko, of course -- if anyone has a child or teenage character who'd be of school age and in New Caledonia in 2021, let me know.
~Lily, who definitely wants to write stuff about Sandboxes
As the three missions I published with her as the main characters are set in 2034, with her TWWA incarnation coming from one year after that (2035, which actually happens to be Daphne's year of death? I admit that one of the Illian-Sims being somewhat short-lived was a shock to me.) For the record, Keiko was born April 13th, 2019 so she's actually a bit younger than Mark. I guess the big happenings in the Turbo family having their real world parallel dates happening during my leave kinda helped havign them go unnoticed, since I never had any incentive to make short stories about those. Kinda fitting, though, since Sergio and Nikki had retired years earlier and kept little contact with HQ makes sense that they would stay under the radar.
That's actually quite a shock, because she definitely lives in the Far Future that just happens to be... a lot less Far now. o.O
If she's three, she's about the same age as Mark Wentway. He's got Future Protagonist written all over his face too. ^_^

If you don't get to it when I wake up, I'll add it to my Wiki edit spree -- I've got lots of pages to make!
It was intially made as a replacement, if I recall correctly, but the first time it did show up in a mission was Mission 2, I think.
I don't recall Paye drinking it (I could be wrong), but it is mentioned in that mission:
Paye hoped that the mini wasn't at Rudi's; otherwise, she and David would have to pay (out of their already piddling paychecks) for every shattered glass and scuffed bottle of Sporka, the newest beverage to hit the PPC.
So, yeah, it should be added to the Wiki.
-kA, who just read over that mission and realized how much they missed writing and publishing them.
but since those are the outer robes (pifeng), they can be taken off and he'll still have the jade pendant. The ones on his robes are three-eyed mandarin ducks so that they're more period-appropriate :P
I've sketched out what the ensemble looks like; I'll send it to you in DMs!
I notice Paye's drinking Sporka in your 2nd mission -- should we put Sporkamol on the Wiki? Or has it already got a Wiki page and I just haven't found it yet?
Moira was recruited in early May of 2021, StWWX takes place in late May, and her first official mission would be a few weeks after that, so early July at the very latest. RC 1774 for Liu Siyuan it is! Like I said further down the thread, Moira herself won't be present in the interlude as it looks now, since it will focus on what Mellon was up to when she was off on her mission. She might run into Liu Siyuan when she walks around HQ giving people back their things, though!
I love his flash patch jade pendant; that is such a beautifully creative detail! Unfortunately that means Mellon will want to steal it. Eledhwen's sonic pen is another contender for that. Mellon is a filthy little thief. =D
Thank you for your trust! I shall make sure to be deserving of it.
As for "something shiny," he typically has a dagger nowadays with him at all times. He's likely to hang out in front of his RC if he hangs out anywhere, but he could plausibly be seen with his family in New Cal if need be.
And, additionally, from... May First-ish, he's been repartnered with K (mission coming soon! Hopefully), so if he actually talks about his partner (highly unlikely but still), he would be referring to K and not Paye.

I shall look after them.

...not sure if there's like an official rule about it, but as far as I'm concerned they're welcome! =)
Aw, I like Mina. I think she would be great friends with Moira; they seem to have a lot of things in common. Moira herself will not be in this particular interlude, since it focuses on what Mellon was doing when she and Blank was off on their latest mission, but they could definitely meet when Moira goes around HQ giving back things Mellon stole. I think a guitar would be a little too heavy for him to attempt to lift, though he'd probably give it a try! He might try and peck at it and loosen a scale, or a tuning peg or something. A pick! ...I don't know guitar things. XD

But if other people don't have a problem with it, then neither do I! I tend towards the hesitant when it comes to finding a sporking target, mostly because I used to be very gung-ho about it.
Troll-wraiths sound interesting, though I would be more interested in seeing a take on defeating a trollfic that isn't veering so close to, say, DBS or DMS techniques. For example, the Department of Bad Angst has agents acting like party clowns to cheer up the sad-sack canons. It's a fine line to tread given the authorial intent behind trollfics, but if you find something unique and funny, I'm sure we'll all want to see where you go with it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with Mina and Carlisle!
You're welcome to use Christianne Shieh, Eledhwen Elerossiel, and Liu Siyuan. Christianne and Eledhwen are ex-DMS and retired in New Caledonia, and Liu Siyuan is in DBS. Since I think this interlude takes place after StWWX, Liu Siyuan will recognise Moira. If this interlude takes place before... oh, October 2021, Liu Siyuan will still be in RC 1774 in Headquarters. Between October 2021 and January 2022, he'll be in RC 9L0121F4114C3, because his RC got burnt down. Then after January 2022, he'll be in a cottage in the French Quarter of New Caledonia.
Christianne and Eledhwen are primarily in New Caledonia, though in HQ they like to go to Cluedo Night at Rudi's. Not so much now, though, since they have children to care for. Liu Siyuan will mostly be in his RC, but he's also been known to show up to mahjong games in the Lounge, and after his latest interlude his stomping grounds extend into New Caledonia. He likes the beach and the arboretum, but he'll also be seen in places where there are books and tea to be had, and the more Chinese, the better.
Christianne's most stealable shinies are probably her Japanese weaponry (though she wouldn't have it out, so I don't know how Mellon would get to it) and a silver star-like ring Eledhwen gave her. Eledhwen's most stealable shinies are her wedding ring, any circlet she happens to be wearing, and her sonic pen. Liu Siyuan's most stealable shinies are a jade token -- this large jade pendant that he would wear at his waist; it's a mark of being a gentleman -- in the shape of the Bad Slash rubber duck (so it doubles as a flash patch! :P) and a jade hairpin carved in the shape of a crane that he uses to hold up his half-up, half-down hairstyle. He also has a silver xiaoguan in the shape of a crane with its wings spread, but he doesn't wear that normally and would simply have it stored away at his place.
For StWWX-related spoiler reasons, the Disentangler and the Agent are not going to be cameo-able, but they can be mentioned as long as nothing particularly spoilery is said. I trust you, though, since you trusted me with Blank and Moira for StWWX!
Mina is given a profile here, which should answer those. And as for shiny object, she has a scaly purple guitar with broken strings named Flurffles.
Bear in mind, my Permission is still pending.
But I think Mina and Moira would be good friends.

Alright, thanks for looking over my request and giving feedback!
As for the “psychotic” comment, it was a joke related to Carlisle’s blaming everything that goes wrong on me, his author. I do see how that was difficult to get, as I haven’t actually written him doing that. I apologize for misrepresenting that.
I do have some ideas on separating an author-troll from an in-fic troll—I’d prefer to call one a troll-wraith, to go with our Sue-wraith terminology. But before that, I’m concentrating on Mina and Carlisle.
And as for the badfic, I’ve posted on it before, and Claimed a badfic by the same author that also exists in wiki form. The reason I want to spork these is that they are related to My Immortal, and that is my favorite Legendary. And wasn’t My Immortal deleted too?
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to give feedback! —Ls
And yes, that's canon for Sergio. He can figure out anything that has an engine, including transforming mechas... but give him a sailboat, and he won't be able to make heads or tails about it. Corolla looks uncharacteristically angry here... but she's the very competitive sort. And this leaves the "strtaight man" role to Nikki today, unfortunately.
EDIT: Ops, I had forgotten that, if we assume the race is happening now, there's actually a fourth (very definitely not yet) agent who could be actually there! Here's little Keiko, three years old, who isn't sure what's going on exactly but her dad looks sad so she goes headpats on him.
