Even here I learn things new, getting better at this new song you sing, though it does seem as the rules of the language get moving, they abruptly change course. The rabbits did denote for a song full of exceptions, there is much pretending that none is allowed. so 26 words used to be said now used as one, it caused a bit of a ripple... Not entirely bad. So don't be surprised if a rabbit says the word love up to twenty-six times. The place where we go next will help that for they will be exposed to the idea of adding time dilation to say things like love to the 4th power. it seems to be needed to cut down the time when a simple good night lasts all night so as not to lose the intention. Must check into that before something weird happens and turns them into Rabbids.

to Neshomeh, One of the worst mistakes is to let an unknown slight remain as a taste and to be honest it should have been plain as day as the inquisition to the Vato. and the difference in dialect. in this humans are strange to me but the essence of slight remains. pardon one that travels through at times way too fast and bound to the natures of such.

I can't see why it wouldn't work with (normal) tea. Rather than dissolving solid Bleeprin in tea, though, I'd suggest mixing in Bleepto-Dismal or Bleepesteem instead. Sounds more pleasant that way to me.

... Though I did just get the thought of someone asking how many Bleeps instead of how many sugars, so Rule of Funny applies if that tickles you. {= )

yes, that is her name in the right tongue. and grammitcally correct. now ponder how many of YOU knew even that. and here she is your elder director endeared to you but those that don't know that ....smh. I would bet none beyond her.

For those who don't read Hebrew, נְשָׁמָה‎ means "soul" and is pronounced neshama. The reference is to Neshomeh.

However, the word "neshomeh" is not, in fact, somehow grammatically incorrect Hebrew. It's actually Yiddish, a Jewish language once very widely spoken by Ashkenazi Jews (in Germany, Eastern Europe, North America, UK, etc). Yiddish is about 20% Hebrew and Aramaic.

These loanwords get a different pronunciation (shabbat to shabbes, sakh hakol to sakhakl, levana to levoneh, mokhel to moykhl, etc), while retaining their original spelling instead of being transliterated (except for Soviet Yiddish, which is a special case and transliterated Hebrew and Aramaic words deliberately to strip them of religious/ethnic origin).

In this case, as mentioned, we're looking at a Hebrew loanword which is pronounced neshama in Hebrew and means "soul" (it means that in Yiddish as well). While it does originally come from Hebrew, seen above with the diacritical marks (nikud; not actually commonly used day to day except for kids and language learners, plus partial nikud for the occasional word that would otherwise be mistaken for another spelled the same way even with context clues), it's very much legitimately Yiddish. Real word, right language, grammatically correct. Written נשמה (no diacritics necessary, as it's a loanword and Yiddish loanwords generally don't get any) and pronounced neshomeh or neshumeh (there may be other variations as well; I don't know all the dialects). If one wanted a transliteration into Yiddish, it would look like so: נעשאָמע (note the single diacritic, in this case denoting oh [kometz aleph] instead of ah [kamatz—behold, another loanword, this time the name of the diacritic mark itself], the latter of which would be correct for Hebrew).

Not to really...get into this thread, which I'm not interested in doing, but since I do have this bit of knowledge, I figured I might as well speak up with a correction, for the sake of both the Board at large (who might be interested even if they do remember details from the good handful of screen name meaning threads we've had over the years) and A-LiA-O, who did provide correct Hebrew even if it came with a very likely accidental insult to the Yiddish language, which was historically looked down upon as a language of uneducated, unmodern people. From posts written after I drafted this one, I see they do have some awareness that it's a Yiddish word brought in from Hebrew. That's great, but the claims in the post I'm responding to were incorrect, and this should more thoroughly clarify (and explain!) the matter than the later-quoted dictionary definition in any case.

New Boarders can absolutely be beta readers. There's no problem with that. If it's for PPC writing, the general recommendation is just to also get a beta who's been around the Board longer/is more thoroughly knowledgeable about the setting to beta from that angle.

i spoke of all of my layers even my idiot skin .. as I cant see yours I could not speak to such in the exterior. Sworn I was engaged one on one in a single layer. and to that one, as applied is quite correct im pretty assured, due the nature of the adaptive introduction, as does not such tell me just how such a thing would start to be. to approach the 7 colored layers to rep the signal how to pull the threads to vibrate the signal. ..is to translate. wouldnt you think considering that is the trait you exhibit. so one can simply order dinner and exchange greetings a study to survive to be that adept even of a traveler through the different layers and venues doesnt make the act any less strenuos as when traveling through sections. even recently a child in one of your cities across all the realms figured out how to speak to Huggin and Munin ...or was that heckle and jeckle.. cant tell if they change names or bodies . her name is gabbie and your squawk box will pick that up. it was simply finding out and labeling the crows monetary and it takes but one other baby to learn of this and by a fortnight will exchange stories carried on the wing and wind. and did not kings find out rather quickly to the point of life and death i believe that is called communication is it not in your sounds written.?

I mean, I can help out, but I'm pretty new here so I don't know if I'd be allowed to? Plus there are probably better betas on this board who know more in general. I am a LOTR fan, have read the books, the Hobbit and the Silmarillion though, plus watched the movies.
