Happiest of birfs, Nesh-Nesh!
Hm... I had a batch of Randomly Generated Cupcakes somewhere, I guess they're gonna just... suddenly appear throughout the day. Anyway, once again yay for birthday!
Welcome, fans of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum and supporters of the Canon Protection Initiative! If you've got a story to plug, an opinion to share, or a discussion you want to join in, this is the place!
If you're looking for PPC stories to read, why not start with The Original Series – the missions of the famous assassins Jay and Acacia, the very first stories in PPC history. Once you've finished them, check out the list of Killed Badfic to find a mission you like the look of, or The Complete List of PPC Fiction to look up specific agents or departments.

And yes, seconding this message. I may not have money to spend, but I can realize when it is best to speak up for others. /nods
It's interesting to know that you're just a year or so older than I am. (I'm turning 34 this year)
Edited to add: It's slightly infuriating to encounter ads on this video from old white men droning on and on about how racism isn't really a problem and if there IS a problem it's definitely not their fault, but since their marketing dollars are going to a good cause, I will grit my teeth and bear it.
Protip: Listen to Black people about what is or isn't a problem for Black people, not the old white men.

And congrats on making it this many times around the sun!
Have a great day, Neshomeh!
Yes, please donate if you can. But, as Neshomeh said, there are ways to help even without money. Such as, for example, watching this video! All of the revenue from ads and the like are donated to organizations like the ones above (but don't watch it over and over; YouTube will mark it as spam).
I'm pretty sure you can't possibly be 35, though. That would make me 34, and that's ridiculous.

The rhyming is great, and the word choices are very satisfying. The structure of the poem is what I love most, though. It's clear, and it has a very story-telling feel to it. I know I'm not the first to have said this, but it's refreshing to see something about the PPC written in the reader's perspective. I'm not familiar with the poem this is based of off, but seeing how this turned out, I'm sure Aliens Took My Daughter is great as well. Bravo:D
Happy Birthday! I certainly agree with your cause but as a student with no job (and no money)... well, y'know, guess I'll just comment.
I don't always post about it, but this year I'm turning 35, which feels like a significant number. It's also happening at a time when the world is going through massive upheaval, between the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and widespread protests in support of Black lives, both of which bear remembering.
For that reason, I'm using my platform here to ask you to consider marking this occasion by making a donation to a worthy cause. I would suggest the Southern Poverty Law Center, Black Lives Matter, or the Poor People's Campaign.
Don't feel bad if you are a student or otherwise have no disposable income. There are other ways to support justice and equal rights. It starts by simply being aware of systemic racism and of your own privilege, if you're white, to live your life not having to worry about it unless you choose to. Please fight systemic injustice by choosing to hear the voices around you crying for equal treatment. Please choose to care.
Thank you all for being part of my PPC family. <3

P.S. You could always comment on my latest story, too. {; )
So, overall, there's low-level technical glitches and a couple fiddly setting-conformance things, but, to counteract that, you're pretty good at action sequences and dramatic tension.
Keep practicing and I'm looking forward to the next one
Creating a division for this specific sub-genre assumes there is someone who wants to write agents who deal exclusively with ABO badfics.
Is there?
(I say this as one of the people worst about doing this: DOGA has been all over the place. But I'm trying! And I put Kaitlyn and Selene in Floaters specifically to avoid 'why are you in that department/division anyway?')

I would be interested in sporking comics in text format (like the mission for How I Became Yours). And if I have time and hate a video enough, I might even copy GLMMs frame by frame. But fitting it in established PPC canon is going to be a little tricky.
My read is that you're talking about missions exclusively into Unusual Media, not into badfics /about/ unusual media (in the latter case, Nesh is right that it would just fall under the VG division etc). In which case I think it's a decent idea!
1/ Is anyone actually planning to write for this? I've recently run into a few old posts about not creating stuff unless you're going to use it, which absolutely applies here. If so, how do you plan to write it? Just text format, or something more involved?
2/ Is this going to absorb the Bad Roleplay Department, and it's Division of Bad Quizzes? We never got to see how the BRD operated, but Bad Quizzes is definitely in the DUM's remit. (And frankly, if BRD is supposed to take on badfic /inspired/ by roleplay, they were always redundant anyway.)
3/ Similarly, is it going to pick up the leftovers of the Wrecked Music Department? They would absolutely fall under this. The justification for shutting the WMD down could be used in explaining the establishment of this new department, too.
If it did absorb both of those departments, you'd have three Flowers already in place as prospective Division Heads (the Daffodil, Bonsai Monkey Puzzle, and Inverted Cactus). I don't think any of the agents are free to use, but I might be okay lending out Althea and Tracer for cameos if they decided to go back.

Generic Surface: Breathing Space was a full mission, over 30 strips long, into a 'Star Wars' badfic. Granted the badfic was made up for the purpose, but there's been several spinoff that do that.
I mean, you can still call it not successful if you like, but at least it exists. ^_^

Always good to see new people here! I wish you luck in all your sporking.

Welcome!
Welcome to the PPC! :D It looks like we share a few fandoms. Harry Potter is honestly kind of my life. I like Hamilton a lot, and I've just finished Sherlock and I love it. MCU is also nice.
Oof, the fic sounds traumatizing. My condolences. Here, have a piece of chocolate to chase away the memory. And again, welcome!
Which, as the title of a game, needs to be both capitalized and set off with italics, btw...
