Thanks for the warm welcome. =D And the gifts. Mmm...jelly babies....and a scarf! It's kinda ridiculously hot for a scarf right now, but I shall cherish it the way a gorilla loves a kitty.

...there were many Flowers That Be. One of them happened to be the Clover Official and I was well-known for having no luct objects...until I met the Cover. Ever since then, it was one-sided love at first sight.
I'm not usually ones for tattoos, but they are quite nice in design. Also liked your rendition of the PPC Agent, though it's somewhat unrealistic. XD I don't remember agents ever carrying that much heat before...might just be my old timer memory failing me. ;)
And thanks for the warm welcome!

Well, I don't know you, seeing as I'm a relative newbie, but anyway:
WELCOME BACK! And can you explain that with the Clover? I didn't quite get it...
Anyway... I also commented on DeviantArt, and I offer you some Welcome back tattoo designs to choose from, if you want to. Some you can see on my DeviantArt-account (shamelessly hinting...), so yeah.
Nice to get to know you!

Also...thanks for this wonderful Thing! I'm sure it'll be useful at an unspecified time at an undisclosed location with a certain, unnamed person. =3
Were you about to say gremlin? Cause it could totally go with my pet moose, sentient kiwi and mongoose that I've collected over the years.

Now that I have your undivided attention...
HI! =D
It's been ages since I've last been here. At least three years in fact. When was that Montreal PPC Gathering again? 2007? Goodness, how time has flown by! I was playing some Assassin's Creed and ended up feeling rather nostalgic, which inevitably led me to drawing this and then posting it on DeviantArt.
Long story short, a very nice someone pointed me back here to the Board and I thought I'd try to reconnect with some of the oldbies that are still here...Oh, and to make nice with the newbies as well!
Well, to recap what has happened in Real Life since my sudden absence for the oldbies: I have a boyfriend, I have an awesome Legend of Zelda webcomic, I've been playing lots of video games and I missed you all. And I've been writing. A lot. Also been drawing a lot as well.
For the new people I haven't met yet: Hello all of you cuties who are most likely younger than me. =D I'm an old lady who had agents who specialized in anime, though they either retired, went renegade, became a nanny in the PPC nursery or went back to being a Mary-Sue. Or, you know, they went more insane. I like anime, videogames and music~! I go by many names, but Keily works just fine here.
So, yeah....
HI!!!! =D *waves like a maniac*
P.S. I still love that Clover.

you can't even get through the first Author's Note without having to reference TV Tropes.
An excerpt from the author's notes:
"WARNING THIS STORY HAS SEXUAL DESCRIPTIONS, RAPE, VIOLENCE/DEATH AND SOME MINOR BAD LANGUAGE"
It's the ever classic Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking.

Will have to check with family to see if there's any day I definitely can't do. I'm also waiting for some job applications to come back, but knowing my luck they won't have done by then (not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing in this case. Oh well).

July is the only regular admin on the chat, so the whole thing becomes remarkably circular if we insist that she make the decision, but I'm not a fan of heaping powers on the PGs just because they're PGs.

Maybe it's mostly due to the Bleeprin? by

You know how if you're in a ridiculous amount of pain, and then the pain stops, you feel happy and euphoric for a good half hour? (If you haven't, I envy you. But it's similar to a runner's high, which most people probably have experienced.) Has to do with the way your body pumps out endorphins to try to deal with it.
Well, what if agents respond similarly to badfic? And then, when the bleeprin removes the badfic effects, you're left with the euphoria of your brain putting out a buncha chemicals to try to help you cope. It's like a high out of sheer relief. I mean, why else are half our agents psychologically addicted to Bleeprin? It's not physically addictive; but you sure do become dependent, if you're exposed to enough badfic.
It mightn't be so much the fake alcohol, but the knowledge that you're going to feel better, and the sudden removal of badfic effects. And, anyway, people can get "drunk" just thinking they're drinking alcohol, when they actually aren't.
Just throwing that out there.

Maybe we need a new title. by

One specifically for chat, which does basically the same thing as PGs here. Moderators, basically. I know not all the PGs frequent chat and so they're not necessarily in the best position to know what goes on, but I do think there should be someone in authority, and preferably several someones.
Dunno if it needs to be an official title, but it would be nice to have people to whom to turn. I nominate July as one, just because it was her idea and she seems to be always on, but I don't go onto chat enough to know of anyone else who would be appropriate.

Premission givers give permission to authors who would like to write PPC missions. They are not the governors of everything PPC related. They may seem that way because before they become permission givers they are generally the more active members of the community (and after they become PGs many of them find they also have this pesky little thing called really life demanding their time and attention).
I think it should be the people that frequent the chat room that should decide whether to unban a person from the chat. Or if there is a moderator, the moderator (who can throw it in the group for discussion if they like).

and before applying for permission to send agents into badfic and start protecting. The word you want to use is canon, not cannon.
Canon is what we protect.
Cannon is what we like to shoot Sues with, or from, depending what's funnier.
