I remember once obsessing over Minecraft. I still kind of do now, but I've basically quit upon realizing the level my eyesight has gotten to (very bad). Not that it made any difference considering the time I spend on the internet everyday (all the time)... and I had this whole castle and garden planned out on paper that I think would work really well in creative mode too...

I would say I am (or at least was) familiar with PJO and HOO, and I've read the first book of the Kane Chronicles. PJO is actually some of the first English books I've read (I moved to the US from China back in elementary school), so it's pretty special to me.

Since the one I thought I had isn't on there at all, I'll just add it.

I used to be the administrator for the Mini-Balrog Adoptions, but since I've been away for years and just kind of lurk now, it kind of fell into neglect. I guess it's mostly been a case of "if it's on there and not marked as adopted or requested for adoption in the comments, it's up for grabs".

1. All the Tropes is pretty good if you ask me!
2. Yeah, the PPC as a whole is an overdeity in the Pantheon Protectors.
3. Favorite agents... I don’t really have any favorites, everyone is just such a great writer and their characters are awesome! As for spin-offs, I’m more of a sequel guy. I’m really bad at choosing between things I like... well, I’ve got badfics to seek out and missions to study!

When I started reading that page, I expected to see the likes of the Ironic Overpower, not us ourselves. {X D Gosh, I feel special now. And slightly sorry for still not liking TV Tropes much. (I go to All The Tropes for my trope-citing needs. Especially since they're also on Wikia, which makes linking cleaner.)

I read your profile, and I realized something. We both found out about the PPC through TV Tropes!

The following sequence has been slightly dramatized.

It was just a normal day, when I was scrolling around TV Tropes, and I was scrolling through the TV Tropes Pantheon and I saw the Protectors of the Plot Continuum. Now, I have a thing for metafiction and the like, and that title sounded nice. So, I read a little about the PPC. I thought to myself, Wow, that looks really cool! I want to read those stories! But there was no link to the stories (and I thought the PPC just had a couple of authors who would keep all the stories in one place)! So, I embarked on an epic journey to locate the PPC stories. I found them on the wiki, where I got a good grasp of what this whole thing is, exactly. Yesterday, I found out there was a posting board. Yes! I thought as I signed up. So here I am. My next steps are to join the discord, read more missions, get to know everyone, and eventually, once I’m ready, ask for permission.

After checking my SPaG on this post, I’m realizing that a) this is about as long as, if not longer than, my original post, and b) I probably shouldn’t have everything in that huge paragraph, but, then again, it’s not like I’m writing a mission right now or something.

Ah, yes, I’ve heard of the mental health problems associated with the PPC...

Which is half the reason I joined!

Who do I talk to to adopt a Mini-Balrog? I thought I had adopted one back when I first joined, but the name of the one I thought I had isn't on any of the lists on the wiki, even the complete one.
