Draft a mission a month and an interlude a month, assuming I get Permission. Writing is fun.
Stop giving in to my distractions and time-wasting whenever I go to do something small.

I said I'd get it up by the end of the year, and that's exactly what I've done.
Edward and Kat discover more about the mysterious newbie Mira as they tackle The Lost Daughter, a Sue who claims to be Voldemort's daughter. Join them as they attempt to slay the Sue while preserving their sanity and avoiding spoilers...
(Also, I'm now free to start work on a new mission if anyone's interested in a PPC Assassin co-write.)

All of the numbers on the list are displayed as 1. I changed them to 1, 2, and 3. But it’s still 1! How does this even happen?

But I realised that actually, uh, I'm going to start getting therapy next year.
This was more a result of procrastination/a lack of free time than any real attempt at making 2020 particularly special, but there you go. I've been all rotten for way too long and I've gotta get to fixing it up already. It turns out, folks, you can't just be nuts for your whole life and try to ignore it!

- Do not create any drama
What I mean is that I don’t want to get into any conflicts with anyone in the PPC. This is very important to me.
- Be the best patrol leader that I can be.
I am a scout for at least two years now, and I have a leadership position in my troop. I want to be competent in my role, because I have wanted be one since my first year. Besides, the troop needs good leaders.
- Try to get permission
My least important goal. This may be my only free time to start writing, before the O levels and other things that would happen eventually. Still, it won’t be very easy for me, because I swear I’ll get nightmares. Trying to explain this would be overly complicated, so it’s best to put this aside for now.
Besides, trying to get permission won’t be easy, at all.

New Years Resolutions by

Every year, I try and set goals for myself. These have, in the past, included things like:
Go to the gym at least twice a week!
Eat healthier!
Keep a diary!
Be kinder to your sister!
And so on, and so forth. They've been simple, they've been strange, but I do try and set at least a few goals each year, and sometimes I even achieve one or two of them. This year, I'd like to make some new resolutions, and I'd like to share them all with you guys, so we can add more, or encourage each other for the new decade.
I would, for 2020, like to:
Drink at least two waterbottles worth of water a day!
Meditate for a solid hour at least once a month!
Check in and make dedicated time to talk with my parents and family!
I wish everyone the best of luck with their resolutions, and here's to a new day, a new month, new year, and new decade.

I found out over the holidays that my brother and a friend of his have a podcast, Notesworthy, which involves them talking about "strange things found on the internet". I rather like it (from what I heard), and thought folks here might like ti as well.
Fair warning, PG-13 is probably the appropriate rating.

9. Something that was tarnished or desecrated is finally restored.
Out in the Great Wide Web, there were certain spaces that he had randomly decided were his.
His to watch over, his to while away hours on (secretly, of course) when there was unexpected downtime... his to protect.
Before becoming an Agent, Peri hadn't had all that much downtime; that in and of itself probably said something about them. But, to check in on one of those spaces after what, when the endless loops and slurries of time were ultimately resolved, had been years, and find it gone - it hurt.
It wasn't as if it were a (meta)physical blow; this was softer, as if something had been dissolved instead of smashed. But the WALL-E Forum had been torn up and set away all the same. They should - could? - do something about it...
And, well. They had always been fond of restoration projects.
It took them months. Not just to figure out where all the data went, but to put it back together precisely. And for practical as well as legal reasons, the restoration couldn't be shared over the Web again.
But the WALL-E Forum Roleplay would live on, as a whole piece and not just in memory, and that was as well-done a job as Agent Peri could ask for.

Who's up for PPC Noir Writing Month? by

Some of y'all might remember a Board thread I'd started in... September I think, about who us Boarders would be in a noir story. The thread got really long and creative, and y'all came up with so many amazing character and story concepts that I figured we could make a writing event out of it (something akin to Shipfest) so these great ideas could be used somewhere. However, I'd been told that another writing event was already going to be hosted in September, so I ended up filing the idea away for later.
Is anybody interested in doing this in the near future?

Nine prompts for nine candles! (The original menorah (Hebrew word for lamp), which stood in the Temple, had seven lights; because (one of) the miracle(s) of Chanukah was that the lone undamaged jug of olive oil burned for eight days despite only being enough for one, the chanukiah (candelabra, also called a menorah by English speakers, comes in many, many, many varieties) lit on Chanukah has eight candles/olive oil slots and a ninth with which to light the rest. I can go into more detail or find relevant links if anyone wants more information.)
All of these prompts reference Chanukah traditions, history, or experience in some way, but can hopefully be interpreted however you'd like. This is another element I can expand upon, though, if anyone's curious.
Happy writing!
"That's a lot more fire than I expected."
"Of course it isn't gambling! This is a children's game, [Name]!"
One or more characters get together for an evening of warmth and food. Candles optional.
"Eating healthy doesn't exist this week. Eat all the deep-fried, cheesy, chocolatey things!"
"It's a coin...made of chocolate. Do not be fooled by its shiny appearance!"
A character who's been feeling down finds comfort in something connected to their childhood or in something that's been a constant in their life.
An impossible victory is won.
A rallying cry is sounded!
Something that was tarnished or desecrated is finally restored.

PS: Why yes, number five is also referencing the beginning of Aladdin. Chocolate coins are just shinier than common oil lamps. It's all in the tin foil.

Larf has been around the community for years, and is well-liked. He spends a lot of time on the Discord server, and is in a different timezone than both the Seattle group and me, which would help improve mod coverage, especially in the European early morning/ American late night slot, when Delta and Mas are falling asleep and I'm not entirely awake yet.
In addition, and at the risk of sounding like a HR person, I believe that he would bring very valuable new perspectives to the Mod team.
