But if you need a random agent, I can do that.
However, if you're looking for more FicPSych folks, you could probably poke Moons. She's got folks that should slot in rather well.

This was brilliant and exactly the sort of thing that should happen in HQ. I love the variety of agents involved. Really makes DoSAT feel like a functioning department that people frequently depend on for services.
Which is another reason I want to straight up steal the idea and do it for FicPsych, the first being that it sounds like fun and I already have ideas for how to annoy my characters and also instigate a chase involving a goose and two young boys. ^_^
So, how about it? Anyone want in for a cameo? It's shaping up to be a lovely evening in FicPsych...

Ah, you've found the easter egg. by

The easter egg being, originally that chapter had Iolanthe reading Charlie. Neshomeh very astutely pointed out that Matilda would be a better fit, and I changed it - but missed the reference. Thank you! I'll fix that tonight maybe.

Snowblaze, is there any Harry Potter fic you'd want to spork in cowrite in particular? I can begin to search too if you don't have a target in mind. Unless you want to go for an Interlude.
Also, Novastorme, assuming you're still in for that event, is there a fic warranting the use of the DOGA and the DMS at the same time that you would like to go for? Unless you'd prefer to go for something else than a Mission.

I don't have email addresses for Neshomeh or Novastorme, but I've sent the targets to everyone else. Please confirm below that you have received them and are definitely participating.
Once that's done, you can use this thread to plan co-writes and notify me when a kill has been made. Good luck, everyone!

Aw, what a cute little goose! Isn't it so funny how things like spatulas that couldn't have any instinctual meaning to an animal can just grab their attention? Like, what's a goose going to do with a spatula? So silly! Honk honk!
It sure was mean of all those DoSAT technicians to go chasing after the little goose! He wasn't hurting anything by being there! He was just exploring his environment! I'm glad they didn't catch him. What a good boy! Little honker boy!
Aw, I like picturing the little goose waddle. Look at his little legs go! Waddle, waddle, waddle, honk, honk! Birds are so pretty.
Now, it was very irresponsible of that Andalite lady to leave a weapon like a lightsaber sitting around where an innocent animal could get to it. Animals don't understand that we
humanssapient people make things like weapons that are designed to be dangerous and hurtful, and that poor bird could have injured himself. I'm very disappointed in DoSAT's poor safety measures in that regard.Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? Is the little goose a good birdie? I think he is! Honk, honk! Good boy, goose friend!
Oh, good! I'm glad he got all those mean humans out of the room! Animals are at their best when we let them be themselves. Now he can explore without any interruptions!
What a clever birdie! I'm so glad he found what he needed and got home. He'll be much happier without all those mean people around. It's amazing how smart animals can be!
Good boy, goose.

FourMoonsWatching gets triggered pretty badly by thinking about people or cute things being eaten, so make sure to put a NSF4M tag in the subject line if you're going to talk about animals being eaten. She wasn't expecting it here and it caught her unawares.

Happy birthday, Kaitlyn! by

Gosh, I didn’t realize real!Kaitlyn was younger than me. She's always been such a fixture here, I still feel like her junior around these parts! Of course, she has been in the PPC much longer than me, so she’s at least Boarder-older, at any rate.
By Any Other Name
Oh, this is a cool story! I love seeing a character through various points in time, with all the different events and periods and stories you worked together to create a history for Agent Kaitlyn. And of course, I loved the sheer number of cameos you worked into this story. Made it wonderful to read!
Ooof. Lorraine did not win my sympathies at all, yanking a book away from her tiny daughter, and later challenging her ability to read. I’m glad that she got written out of the story, though I also feel bad for “Auntie Lee” and her child. I hope they did all right. And maybe we’ll see Kaitlyn’s little cousin find his way to HQ someday?
I love the idea of Kaitlyn being so excited to visit Middle-earth that she gets herself signed up for OFUM without realizing what kind of school it is especially hilarious. Much confusion on all sides! And I love that Kaitlyn wound up inspiring some of her classmates to work in HQ afterwards. She really is good at making friends!
Interesting to see a character start out appearing as a protagonist, but then fall in with the Black Cats. It’s always nice to get the perspective of low-ranking members of a villain’s team, to see why they’ve chosen the side they’re on. Did Isobel patch that footage through in the hopes of finding her PPC friends? Or did the Ghost relay Isobel’s footage through for some purpose?
The party scene, and the big reunion at the end, is just really wonderful. I can’t imagine what that would feel like, having so many old friends reappear in the same place like that . . .
Go Go Canon Rangers
Yes, with a culture based around fanfiction, I can see the media in HQ start to, shall we say, “emulate” actual agents. So I like the idea that missions inevitably end up inspiring long-running series that ultimately aren’t based on true events any more.
I can tell a lot of work went into those drawings, with all the detail in the Ranger suits and the Zords. You’ve even made the Megazords look reasonably like they fit together the way one would expect, which is impressive!

It's good to hear that the expanded version added something to the original story.
Thanks for the SPaG notes (I'm glad I didn't have as many of those typos as last time :) ). I've gone and fixed the issues (ve/vem was used intentionally).

... to that goose a fundamental truth.
Namely, that it is edible. And rather good. Anybody with a gun or ranged weapon/whatever-can-kill-at-a-distance up to the task? You get dibs on best pieces of meat.
