(Not for anything bad, it's just that I've never played in an orchestra with a recorder. But it still fits under woodwind.) A lot of agents are going to be absolute beginners with their instruments (especially the press-ganged ones) so there'll be some leeway. The Picso is about teaching agents to play as much as actually doing performances.
Xylophone and drums are fine - harp is so quiet in orchestras that you can't hear it half the time anyway, so I think we should be safe. We'll put harps next to the gong and its special spork-shaped mallet just in case.

Ooh, a cello!
I love cellos! Drinks all 'round!
Piano should be fine as well - I think the official rehearsal room has flexible dimensions depending on how many people are in there.

If the PPC can have an orchestra, why not a choir? by

(That's not my jurisdiction, though. But if it comes to forming a choir as well, El's a second soprano.)
I think just about any agents can take part in the party piece - and percussion means you can hit stuff rhythmically. Who doesn't love percussion?

I wonder how many people have been caught out by the one-day-notice thing?
In any case, because you got the email in time, and because you're transfering files, and because the whole thing was your idea, I think you should get a 'Saviour of the PPC Wiki' badge or something.

So do I- I actually prefer it to Highwayman. (There's a song with similar lyrics, The Wicked Sister, by a singer called Meav, by the way.)
Yep. Tasting is a good activity with rain as well.

Yes, there should be badges.
Don't worry. Moon will stick around. He's a born zealot.
See, a more complicated and embarrassing name would have required his original author to actually know about classical music, rather than just knowing the title of one song and throwing it in to make herself look clever.

My MSN is on crack (meaning it takes literally about 30 tries for me to send a message), however am I correct when I say that I believe you have a Skype account? You can find me there as waffles.of.doom, or e-mail me at celticfirefeet AT hotmail DOT com .
This sounds like fun, and I'd love to be a part of it!

YES! More rain lovers! I give you a welcome gift - RAIN!
Actually, it's running water. One of those self-contained mini-environments that has a river flowing up and down hills and lifted by water-wheel to return to the beginning. Also, there's a little firebrand in the middle of the 'land'. Enjoy!

Yay!
Yep, I'm a Loreena McKennitt fan as well, thanks to my dad. That song's quite good, though I prefer the song/poem Bonny Swans...which demonstrates how morbid I can be. (If you don't get that, google "Bonny Swans" or "Bonny Swans lyrics".)
Rain is meant for dancing, and running, and getting wet in, and sometimes staring at and listening to. No one else seems to agree with me there, but it *is*.
Like I said, I'm an obsessive fan of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Kiesha'ra and vamps.
Shinys....prettyful shiny whisky thingy...

But that's not really an instrument. In addition, she sings very low, usually taking male or villian parts in anything with lyrics. But it doesn't work so well for an orchestra. Ah, well. She'll love to watch, though.
(Anyone trying to press-gang Agent Iza will probably regret it. She's close to tone-deaf.)

Orchestra rocks!
Ehm.
Agent Sara plays piano (though she's a little rusty because pianos don't fit all that well in cramped Response Centers) and Agent Zach's trying to teach himself cello (inspired by the PotC soundtrack), which is sorta-kinda working.
So. Yes.

It's always good to find another person who can't be in a rain shower without dancing! And another Atwater-Rhodes fan (love her vamps)! And distracted by moving shinys! And a poetry nut!
I think maybe I love you. XDD
Speaking of which, you heard Loreena McKennitt's song version of The Highwayman? She leaves out a few stanzas, but otherwise it's fantastic! I've always found that having a tune to the words makes memorizing much easier. And have you read John Masefield? His sea poems sometimes make me wonder if he didn't have a little of Tolkien's sea longing himself...
And now for the obligatory gift: the egg whisk! It's shiny, gold-plated, and it whisks eggs! Feel free to use on spambots and other nasties!
Welcome to the insanity!
