Did you know each other before the Board, or did you meet here?

As of 3.10 pm this afternoon (British time) I shall be fourteen years of age, and, as such, the average age of a Suethor. But I'm trying to forget the last part. Free brass camels for all!

I'm so glad you are happy together. Enjoy life!

About a movie that she watched the other day. "10,000 BC", that movie needs to be hit upside the head with an Atlas and a history textbook.
Just her descriptions were enough to make my say DoGA.

Discworld fic plagiarism? by

Long time no see! Well, my sister came across this fic on ff.net and after showing it to me and whipping out our copy of The Truth for verification found that "Wherefore Ducks? And Other Stories" by Gogol has lines of the novel lifted almost word for word without giving credit where credit is due. Lots of dialogue, and even the first two paragraphs of the fic are entirely Pratchett.
The link, for those interested: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4106592/1/WhereforeDucksAndOtherStories

(Tawaki already used his mother-name, and we have to go for maximum geekiness.)
One concern, though--would having two Maglor replacements in the PPC be kind of confusing? Although if they don't look anything alike...

Crap, I hate it when I do that, mixing up Improbable and Implausible. Soooorry.
Yeah, that was kind of flowery. I don't often try to get too poetic though, but thanks for the advice. I'll make sure my friend (who has graciously volunteered to beta) will keep an eye out for that.
For continua...probably Percy Jackson (I saw some freaking scary ones there), maybe some Harry Potter, Torchwood, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, and the Bourne fandoms. And that's just the ones that I've found scary crossovers in so far...
