Kel is the best. Alanna might be my favorite just because she introduced me to Tamora Pierce. And Aly definitely has some pretty strong Sue traits. Oddly enough, she never bugged me the way Daine did. I mean, daughter of two gods (granted her mom wasn't one in the beginning) as well as being the most powerful Wildmage. It was the backstory angst that really drove me nuts.
I love Neal. I think the Kel series was probably the most awesome.

Alanna may be the one with violet eyes and a telepathic cat, but at least she generally has to work for everything and has her moments of humiliation. Aly is much worse.
Kel was by far the best protagonist in the Tortall books, and Neal is awesome.
I liked Numair, though. I think that characters who are incredibly powerful need some weakness, a common one being that they can do really big, flashy stuff, but can't do anything small.

I agree Daine has some Sueish traits, but the biggest Sue from the TP universes has to be Aly. I read the Trickster set for the first time a few years ago, thinking the whole time about what a Sue she is.
Oh, and plotting to spork her a few times too, but that was pre-PPC for me.

When living tissue has been put under a SEP-field, how long does it take to resume its natural coloration? I'm talking maybe five minutes under the field, ten at the most.

Unfortunately, Fynn's only here in August, and that was what we were planning around - given I'm here 24/7, haha.

Is actually accepted fact in some cases in real life. However, it's a primary school mentality - after all, wasn't it always the kids who liked each other like that who called each other names and abused each other?
Of course, Spy vs Spy is at the point where love is completely out of the question.

Whatever works for the pair is probably fine. Even if there are flashback problems, hopefully they can work through those, too. It would be a bad sign for the future marriage if they couldn't comfort one another!
... Since I seem to be channeling Jenni anyway, your agents are welcome to talk to her if they want to. You have my e-mail, or we could exchange IMs and play it out that way. It's the weekend, so I actually have time.
I think "an item" is pretty much the same as "dating" or "going steady," but I could be wrong.

Tonight and tomorrow night, I ought to be around. Sunday (well, for me it'll be Sunday) is reserved for something else, but if that doesn't happen, then it's possible.
What's up with July? Apparently I missed a memo.
