(Heaven help me.)
Funnily enough, I think I could actually do one this week.
Is anyone interested and available for this Wednesday or Thursday, at some point between 6:30-9:30 pm London Time?
Let me know!

PS: I know it's somewhat short notice, albeit better than 'hey, who's around in an hour?' If it doesn't work out, I'll try to think up an alternative.

I'm afraid that'd be hard for me to run? Three hours of good EU time is hard for me to set aside.
But this is literally just something that I decided to do because I wanted to see it happen. You, or anyone else, are totally welcome to host one on an EU-friendly schedule, as you see fit! I'd be happy to collaborate on prompts if the host wants to run one with the same prompt, or we could do alternating weeks to give more space for commentary here on the Board.
There's no magic or authority to the All-Writes. The host posts a prompt, runs the timer, keeps the discussion afterwards on track, and writes the wrap-up post for the Board. That's all it takes.
So, I'll turn the request around: I, too, would love to see an EU-friendly All Write series. Unfortunately, I can't host it. Could someone volunteer to host?

I had Many Emotions. This is a fantastic, fantastical piece, and it is very well-crafted.
Hell of a final project.
(Spotted one missing word near the end of it, though: "His levitation will fade quite naturally a few days." is missing an in.)

At some point could you actually do it at a friendly time for us Europeans who have 9-5 jobs and can't stay up until 2am on a weekday let alone function?

I try to avoid specific settings with prompts, and there's only been a few PPC things written. There's only been a few bits of fanfic written total, actually, most people are doing original work. You are welcome to join!

So hey, you guys know I've been doing a Masters degree in Creative Writing, right?
Here's my final project.
The Bone Man: Apprentice
All feedback greatly appreciated. I finished this last night. It is a mere 29 pages and 14,221 words. Give it a read. I can't see straight and my resting heart rate looks like a phone number. Enjoy.
And thank you for being there to support me during this. I really appreciate it. =]

Early warning: Writing party Tuesday! by

I'm going to start this one earlier than last time, to make better use of east-coasters time. We'll be writing in the Discord at 6pm Seattle time Tuesday. That'll be 9pm east coast time, and 2am Wednesday morning in London.
As usual, I'll post a prompt and we'll write for half an hour, and then provide crit- as ever, people are welcome to write in their own time and contribute, or just show up to give crit!

I'd be quite happy with a final warning or with a ban. Either of those would hopefully resolve the issue quickly. As long as the threads stop, I'll be happy, even if that means tolerating one more. Since I think it's generally nice to give people a second chance, a warning would seem to fit.
I have a hard time believing Minh will take the warning to heart considering their responses to people telling them to stop. Even if they ignore the warning, though, I think we'll have built a better foundation for future discussion.

I had typed it out and thought I'd better clarify in case you were voting for a final warning and I'd put you in the wrong group.

I vote for a temporary ban, since I agree with you that Minh has been warned about their behavior and asked to stop plenty of times already (with both the Discovery discussions and the swearing/inappropriate language).

Warning/Ban Discussion: Minh by

With my post in the below thread picking up steam, and given Akrinor's advice to move this into it's own thread to stop things getting messy here is my post on doing something about Minh's behaviour in the PPC Community pasted below:
"Can I make a movement here that Crazy Minh has repeatedly broken Article 11 of the PPC Constitution alongside breaking other Articles of the PPC Constitution in the past (the ones coming to mind are Article 2 and Article 3, along with a questionable breaking of Article 21 as the only discussion their posts generally seem to inspire are asks and pleas for them to stop). Given these cases and in line with Article 12 of the PPC Constitution may I make a suggestion that we as the PPC Community look into a potential partial ban for Crazy Minh so that they can healthily work out their problems as indicated in this and other posts away from the PPC Community (for example in the creation of a tumblr or other blog account). With the caveat that upon their return they will not devolve back to this kind of posting.
I personally have grown tired of seeing these posts appear with a semi-regular frequency and believe that with this being the (to my count) 5th individual time that this has happened within 6 months, something (even if it's just a formal warning) needs to happen, as this is not (in my opinion) healthy for the community).
Given that this is just to discuss action being taken I did not put this in a separate post but instead linked it to the post that has spawned this feeling for action with me. If this is meant to be made as a separate post then I am happy to do so.
Novastorme."
Now since I wrote this post there have been 5 people (Akrinor, Iximaz, Neshomeh, Mikelus and Cicada) agreeing that a Final Warning is sufficient, with Ix's Addendum of:
"With the addendum that if this happens again, Minh takes a break from the PPC to find a different community to rant to."
Which most of those going for the warning seem to agree with.
Conversely there appear to be 2 people (S.M.F and Mirage Fontane) who agree that some kind of ban should instead be placed upon Minh (I aplogise either of you if I've got it wrong and you want a warning instead).
Personally I feel like a ban would be more appropriate given that I feel like Minh has received warnings before about their behaviour and they seem to have ultimately ignored them (I guess making it 5-3 on the Warning vs Ban count).
I guess this is where it gets opened once again to discussion. What if anything should happen?
Novastorme
P.S. I'm not reading this as an actual ban thread where this sort of thing gets ultimately decided (or at least not yet). But more of a discussion thread for how people feel and what people think should be done, and what if any punishment (ugh I hate that word, but can't think of a better one) should be given out.

Let's hope Phobos agrees - the noir squad needs a mob boss. :P
Also, I have a proposition. When this thread quiets down, why don't we make it into a PPC writing event? We really have an excellent cast here, and I think some wonderful stories could come out of it.

The Truth-Seeking Reporter will totally need to rope in the Wire-Tap Techie for slightly dubious information-gathering purposes. Look, it may not be strictly legal, but if it leads to catching the Real Culprit, it'll be worth it, right?

I'm not an expert on noir either, but I'm so glad I've started this thread - we've come up with an amazing cast so far. I'm glad you're enjoying it, too.
And yes, the PPC noir gang could always use a dedicated thruth-seeker and especially more noir ladies. We have enough good guys for the reporter to turn to if she gets into trouble. :P
