If the Sue/replacement only appears in flashbacks and/or is already dead in the fic's present, how do agents deal with them?

To be honest, you haven't missed much.
This year2020, which still doesn't feel totally gone yet, has put a damper on all our spirits. But, we're still here, still keeping on keeping on, and happy to have you back.If you keep on keeping on with your fanfic, you will definitely finish it! I'm a Snape fan (he's a bad person, but a great character), so if you'd like some pointers or suggestions about things he might say and how he might say them, I'd be happy to help. If you're on Discord, feel free to message me. I'm a perpetual lurker, but I check in fairly often these days.

Would you care to tell us a bit about yourself? For example, what are your pronouns? How did you find us? Have you read the Original Series? Any spinoffs? Do you have a favorite story or character? What are your fandoms?
I'm sure you'll soon find you have something in common with somebody. Meanwhile, have some fresh Canon Cookies to go with your tea. There are plenty to share. ^_^

- Therapy. Many agents have willingly reformed themselves with the aid of FicPsych, including certain members of FicPsych!
- Medication. Logicillin may prove useful. Anti-Lustin may also be used if the agent isn't a full-blown Suvian.
-- There actually was an idea for glitter dialysis bopping around for a while years ago, but I don't think there's an actual published source for it (besides an offhand mention in one of my own missions). Obviously it would be impractical as a means of permanent de-Suification; perhaps, like real hemodialysis, it must be done periodically to maintain a suitable glitter level. - Monitoring. The DIA may require particularly high-risk cases to wear a Sue-tracking anklet, either temporarily or permanently. This can be a tad humiliating and runs the risk of encouraging angst, but it has the benefit of providing the agent in question immediate feedback if they start to glitter, get OP, emit Aura of Smooth, etc.
- Community support. It's tough to be an ex-Suvian in Headquarters. At least one informal Sue Support Group has been known to exist. It's possible that FicPsych has since adopted the idea and started a formal one.
Any of these may be use separately or in combination, depending on the individual case (i.e., what makes the most entertaining story).
Also, I must note that claiming a character has been instantly cured of Suedom without doing any actual work to improve himself would be, ironically, pretty Sueish. Definitely take his powers away if that's the story you want to tell, but remember that Suedom is far more about the execution of a trait or ability than the thing itself. {= )

Just remember that Reality Rooms force logic on whatever's inside them with extreme prejudice, so before using them on a potential recruit, you have to make sure that the recruit's existence or continued health isn't inherently contradictory to canon. Also, HQ has no method of manually removing glitter from Suvians, either, as that would mean we could resolve every badfic peacefully and then there would be no assassinations and no fun.

Is there a specific process to reform former Sues? by

One of my characters is a former Gary Stu, and I’m trying to give him more of a backstory. Do they just get sent to the Reality Room or have the glitter removed? It seems like there are several ways, so I’m just asking for clarification.

So, hi. I'm ChampionOrChicken. I joined the PPC almost a year ago, and then left for some time. Now I'm back. I'm not sure how many people will remember me, because I was never really very active. It seems like such a long time ago. Anyway, like I said, I'm back. I'll probably be pretty quiet in the future, because that's just how I am. Awkwardness accompany my words. That's how I feel, and I'm not sure about others, but ultimately it's my feelings that count. I am currently obsessed with... a lot of things. My focus shifts around quite frequently too—back and forth, back and forth. I find it always comes back to those few things, with some new things added along the way, and my biggest wish is to have enough time to delve deep into all the things I enjoy. I like writing fanfiction, but I really think more than write. Everything is so awkward when I write it down. It's much more natural in my mind, as a combination of words and film. I need practice. I really do. My other big wish is to finish the Harry Potter fanfiction I'm working on before the age of 20. 7 years, I definitely could do it. Or could I...? By the way, what do you guys think of this? https://youtu.be/Q_qKwSiN4Uw Got to go. I promised my mom I'd show her my fanfiction after I finish chapter 3. She's getting impatient. Why did I ever agree to that in the first place? Just editing it will take such a long time, and I'm still stuck with writing Snape's lines. I find that he is very, very hard to write. Like I said, I need practice. Lots of it. Nice to meet you, and happy new year.

[NSFW] A rather annoying trend in Japanese smut fics by

Bad and good sex scenes exist in Japanese fanfics, but there's this one pet peeve that I observe much more frequently in Japanese fics than in ones written in English – while bad English smut is often characterized by weird things going on in the narration, bad Japanese smut is mostly in the dialogue, with many authors' just spamming crying noises, especially badly spelled and punctuated ones, in place of actually describing the acts. Think overly extended vowels (aaaaaah), ellipsis abuse, glottal stop abuse (strings of っっっ or ッッッ – how the heck do you extend a glottal stop?), long vowel mark abuse (strings of ーーー, especially after anything other than katakana or after a friggin' glottal stop), liberal sprinkling of the dakuten mark, especially after vowels and consonants that can't be voiced (think あ゛あ゛あ゛), and – this is my favorite – actual use of special symbols (heart marks in dialogues, I kid you not), coupled with annoying frequency in a single scene. All these goofs make the scene ridiculous very quickly, and can take all the unironic enjoyment out of an otherwise well-written sex sequence.

Doom stared at the cheese, and then back at Katy.
“Are you implying that you want me to try this first so you know if it’s edible?” The girl grinned.
“Yeah. Plus, you’re practically immortal. I’m not, and death by cheese is a sad way to go.” As Doom stared at the cheese in his gloved hand, she turned back to Charlie. “What department are you?”

“I have no idea!” they said, still smiling. “Though judging by the texture and smell, I figure it’s about 20 years aged. Still edible, though. Probably.”
Noticing Jiwon giving them a skeptical look, Charlie held out their paws defensively. “What? I like cheese.”
