I didn't know half of those details, and I've been singing its songs for years. Excellent work, Anamia. Thank you!

Excellent as always, thank you.
As for Fender... I'm not sure there's anything left, but I look forward to seeing what your Muses offer you. Cheers!

Strange Sue by

What if a Sue died...and she never, ever came back?
I remember reading this fic (a long time ago, can't remember) that had a Sueish character, but at the last moment, during the climax of the 'war', she abandoned her post. This left the soldiers under her command vulnerable to attacks, but it turned out she was going to help someone.
This sounds really Sueish and everything, but she died. Is that considered a charge? I mean, it sounds all heroic, but normal Sues don't do that, do they?

You looking for bad slash/het, nasty Mary Sues, specifically illogical crossovers, or just something remarkably, remarkably bad?
There's a meh Highlander/B5 crossover, mostly due to confusing SPAG, but it might not be worth sporking -- I'm not familiar with the Highlander universe at all, so I dunno if they count as Marty Stus or not. Same, to a lesser extent goes for a transformers/B5 crossover.
I've only glanced over it, but Three Sides of Life has a pretty major black hole Sue in the middle. Despite that and the ugly formatting, might not be bad enough, and isn't a crossover.
Most of the crossovers long enough to justify sporking aren't really bad, even if they've got Mary Sues and OOCness like the Star Wars/B5 "Coming of the Empire".

Hello Anity, I see my fiction has been posted under Badfic Reports and Claims. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised- after all I kinda just stick commas where ever I please, and if it wasn’t for spell check my entire story would be unreadable. Horrifying I know!
Curse it! Why oh why didn’t I pay attention in English!?!
Oh well! Despite you little 'Claim' I'm still gonna keep on writing - and theres NOTHING you can do about it!
MUHAHAHAHA!
Don’t get me wrong I love constructive criticism, but don’t be cowardly about it- I can take anything you've got to say!
As for me, I fully support young people who have an ambition for this art (no matter how bad their grammar may be) if its something you love- don’t stop!
And as Iris Murdoch once said "A bad review is even less important than whether it is raining in Patagonia"
And wouldn’t you know it its raining cats and dogs down here in Texas :)

Many things. Fun things. Things which made me giggle as I wrote them.
Would you be interested in reading it when I've finished? I wasn't going to post yet, since I don't have general permission, but a second opinion would be nice.

I had been debating whether or not to write it in narrative form when I started it. But really, since no one else was doing it, I figured why not just follow the "science fair" method done in school?
I'm rather lax on format. Go ahead with the story; I just want to see that the scientists learned something (even if it is to never let a Sue have sugar) from their lab. And that they're methodical enough to do a write-up.

Specifically, badfic in the Babylon 5 continuum, as that is the only one I'm currently a true fan of. Crossovers would be nice.
Googling and trawling through the Pit have so far turned up negative.

The Science of Awkwardness
Man, I keep thinking that someday I'm just going to run out of terrible things to do to Fender. Then I write him for a bit, and there are all the ideas.
I hope it's worth the wait.

I assure you I'll help with the upkeep on them now that they're there.
... Did I ever mention that I went ahead and made a History page back when it was suggested? It's under the name History of the PPC, Part One, which I explain in the article introduction. It's also a reference to Mel Brooks' History of the World, Part One.
Anyway, anyone should feel free to add stuff to that, especially since I can't devote the time to fleshing it out myself. The descriptions of each event should be very brief, only one or two sentences. The idea is just that everything is in order and, eventually, properly sourced so that people can get to the content in question with a minimum of trouble.
I hope that makes sense.

Yes, please please please flesh it out! That would be great. Please expand any stub you feel like expanding. {= D
However, NEW articles probably needn't be created unless there is badfic and it is relevant, as you say.
And I just said this in a different thread, but I'll repeat it here: I agree with Pads that it is a Good Thing to create and use an account on the Wiki. It makes me personally feel more secure to know who does what, and apparently it's not just me.

Just goes to show that not all "great poetry" has to be complicated and wrapped in layers and layers of hidden meanings. I think that's great poetry. I just wish I could tell whoever wrote it.

My dad spent some time in Haiti a few years back. He doesn't talk about it much, but when he does it's hard to hear. It really is an awful situation to begin with, let alone after being hit by an earthquake of that magnitude. Jeeze.
Also: it's okay to post about stuff like this sometimes, if it's especially momentous or relevant. We like a good serious discussion every once in a while (if a discussion happens). {= )

I don't think we've been clear on that point before, so there may be some non-sanctioned agents up there (e.g. the whole "Dusk Daybreak" incident). However, I agree that agents shouldn't be added to the Wiki unless the writer has Permission.
And on a similar note, I at least would appreciate it if everyone who edits the Wiki would make and use an account there, preferably with the same name you use here, or if not then with a note about it in your infobox. It just makes me feel better to know who does what. {= )
