I've been thinking about this for a long time, and have finally decided to try my hand at a sporking mission. But conisdering how I don't have very good self-esteem, I'm not sure of what fic of my to put up as an examnple of my writing work.
My choice of fic is varied, but as of late, I have been doing movie/game "fanmakes" (or parodies, if you prefer), though characterization is my biggest issue/worry.
(BTW, my penname on FanFiction.net under is Gijinka Renamon, and I give full permission to spork/MST my earlier works, back when I didn't know what I was doing.)
Also, do have to know the fandoms back-to-front? Since smnall details tend to slip past me...

I would like to donate some money, but I'm not sure where to go. But yes, I really do want to help.
And I seriously hate those selfish pricks saying bad things about Haiti because of the culture or something stupid like that.
People like that really tick me off (but then, so do a lot of things, seeing as I have some anger issues).

"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Salute Your Shorts and Godzilla. The story should use creepy interent fetishes as a plot device!"
Gods, I actually remember "Salute Your Shorts" - that was so long ago, I hardly expected to find it here.
Took a LOT of refreshing to finally find one with two fandoms that I know, though:
"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Aladdin and Xmen. The story should use aliens as a plot device!"
Hrm.
"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Chronicles of Narnia and The Odyssey. The story should use an ancient prophecy as a plot device!"
Now that might actually work! It's not a terrible idea at all, in the end. Not good, but not terrible...
Not writing it, though.

That generator so went there. *suddenly remembers the Laura/Hamtaro and Wealsey men/Ginny badfics* *hides in a corner*

I haven't read that, yet. I have ridiculous amounts of Borders giftcards, so I may have to look into those.

Araeph, DTE head and former PPC infidel at your service!
The PPC has done quite well for itself in the intervening 2-3 years. Even I'm surprised at its tenacity.
Good to see you here!

Tamora Pierce still remains one of my favorite authors to this day; she just keeps getting better. Have you read the Trickster duology? I was really impressed by the way she bent in politics with action in those two.

Unless you've gotten a message from that individual recently, Sedri, I think he was replying to me but hit the "post reply" on your comment. I sent him a few suggestions earlier and got a response.

I'm afraid I'm quite confused. You sent me a reply on FF.N? The only thing I've recieved lately was a fanfic review - is that what you meant? If so, why mention it here? If not... I still don't understand. If your reply was about this Permission discussion, why send a message there? If you'd like to email me privately, I'd be glad to give you my address. Would you mind clarifying this for me?
