I'm afraid I'm quite confused. You sent me a reply on FF.N? The only thing I've recieved lately was a fanfic review - is that what you meant? If so, why mention it here? If not... I still don't understand. If your reply was about this Permission discussion, why send a message there? If you'd like to email me privately, I'd be glad to give you my address. Would you mind clarifying this for me?

As long as it's unfounded arrogance that gets the rug cut out from under him every time he's proven wrong, that shouldn't be a problem.

I was thinking OrangeDream's characterization would be more along the lines of arrogance than mere overconfidence, kind of like that kid who challenged the bad slash department to a Celebrian-reading contest. I like the idea of being tasked by the flowers to make sure my partner doesn't just snipe enemies; it would also create opportunities for the droid to talk about how he wants to slowly kill the flowers.

You could try another fandom by

There's plenty of fandoms that have lots of badfic. I've already left two fandoms behind because I couldn't find any suitable badfic. So, I do know what it is like to not be able to find badfic in a chosen fandom. I just don't think it's worth complaining about, not when there's still many other fandoms out there.
Or you could write a story about how your agents are the envy of all others because they've got so little to do.

A Way To Help. by

Besides donating yourself, people should be aware that Haiti is currently struggling under crippling international debt. It's a horrible situation made worse by a number of factors, not least the fact that they've got a horrible and corrupt government to begin with-- this compounds it.
Not to plug, but ONE is circulating a petition to ask a number of different international entities to drop Haiti's debt, here. They're not asking for money, only signatures.
(If anybody else has organisations to plug, or the like, I'd love to see. I feel like interest in aid over the Western world has dropped drastically after the initial shock.)

Yeah, CoM was the first series of hers I picked up. It was a bit strange reading about ten year olds at seventeen. I have the first Tortall book, but I find it a bit difficult to read about ten year old again. -_-

First poke, if anyone's not done that! (Do we give return-pokes?) I remember you, albeit a bit vaguely.
And welcome you with utter warmth, and not just because it's one more oldbie who hasn't written a mission yet!
Welcome back!

Here's a Glitter-proof shield from the Raven Armory! (It can't be Sueified and is useful when you need to block out the sight of a Sue. Don't ask how I got it to be that way.)
You like Circle of Magic? I do, too, even though I mainly stick to Tortall.
