I was thinking of having a game. You first choose a real world animal companion, then you have to CAF it as a sue would. to think both logically, and sueologically.

I'm much more of a winter weather person. I couldn't live anywhere where they don't get snow. We get a grand total of maybe 6 inches a year when we're lucky, and that's nowhere near enough for me.

And that seems much handier. Can it change into anything or are there limitations? Could it transform into a real live... something, or is that not allowed? (It would kinda defeat the point, wouldn't it...)

Well, as you can see, I just went and capitalized it this time. I didn't out of habit; my email is all lowercase, and I'm used to that, so, I dunno...

Actually, the funny thing is I was writing this absolutely horrid story while I was working my way through it, and I never realised how horrid the story was/is... *sigh*

Haven't even looked yet, actually. Was fortifying myself with a cuppa and catching up on the soaps. But I'll consider us duly warned, thanks.

I used to have one, back in school. Came from a combination of hand written work in classes, and a penchant for writing emo poetry which happily I grew out of by the age of eighteen.

Don't have it any more, however. I may have just spent three years doing a degree, but one could get away with taking very little by way of notes, and all work was typed (I've a suspicion they won't actually accept hand written work), so throughout my university career, the writer's bump would reappear whenever I sat an exam and that was it.

Mine's not on the middle finger, though. (Middle's the longest one, right?) It's on the ring finger. Probably because I hold my pen weirdly, with the first two fingers and thumb on the pen, and the ring and little fingers tucked away.

As of right now, there's not enough to work with, but we'll keep an eye on that fic while we're doing our other missions.

Since so many people said they like Agent Derik, I don't mind sharing a couple of things he has already inspired. {= ) The first is a drawing of him and his partner outside their new Response Center. It should have been a nice group photo, but... well, there's a kender involved.

The second is a playlist Barid put together back when I was still working on Gestalt Therapy. I added tracks 6 and 12, but otherwise it's just as he made it. It follows Derik from his origins in badfic all the way to his new posting in RC #1110. To know what's what, see the Notepad file that comes with the tracks. You should be able to download everything from here. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Do you think I could use Michel at some point in the future? I had a role in mind for him in my Agents' overarching plot.

Although mine's more to do with drawing these days, since I do most of my composing on my laptop. (At first I swore I was going to keep writing first drafts by hand, but you know how it is.) The callus used to be truly monstrous, but it's not so big now. I miss it when I get to coloring, I can tell you. {= P

Like most of the people here, I love to write. However, because of this hobby, I have a writer's callus on my right-hand middle finger, where my writing tools are supported. So, I'm just wondering if anyone else here has a writer's callus. (It's also a question to get my mind off of today's mood, if only for a little while.)
