I know about horse feathers... by

But that's different.
I mean the entirety of the body text. Maybe it's just Firefox, or some weird thing about my computer, but when I mouse over the story text, all of it goes red. Not just this chapter, either--I think all of them will do it if I try, and I see nothing in the HTML to explain it. It's kinda cool, but strange.

Yeah... :P
I'm not sure what text you're thinking of... the only bit that should change colour is the link up at the top of the page.

"Er... do any of you have a Remote Activator on you?"
I think that was my favorite line. It cut the drama in a very good way. *g*
I caught a couple of things:
1. Captain Dandy rustled his feathers.
-- Really?
2. She [Tango] squeezes his hand and turned away.
-- I assume that's meant to be "squeezed."
Also, I just noticed that the text turns red on mouse-over. Is there a reason for that?
I look forward to the conclusion of the story. And then I'll really have to go back and read everything straight through, because it will be excellent. {= )

Yes, I've seen some other similar ones as well - from recollection, it was Sweeney Todd, with a list at the top of which characters were playing which parts (can't remember what the other canon was at the moment), and then just a copy-and-paste of the words. I cannot work out why people even bother writing this sort of thing - it just seems like an utter waste of time, to me.

Its just that I was trying to hide the fact that I liked the romance by adding the 'laidies' part. Also, the ship sinking in the ending was perfect from a literary standpoint (I also said that in the other post), and I tought I'd just look whiny complaining about it. And yes, I forgot that not all complaints about fictional works are from a literary standpoint.

I meant no offense. Sorry if I was unconsiously stereotyping. Here's a revised version of the statement:
And for the laidies who want it (and the men who do**), there's romance.
**To be honest, I was bitching about the metaphorical Antishipping missile launched at the Beri/Page ship. I don't know why I didn't tell you this earlier, except that I may have come across as a rabid fan trying to draw you all (even the males, I admit that) into a stupid shipping thread worthy of...the less moderated boards. There, are you happy? Yes, I'm telling the truth. I swear to the Embodiment of all Memes that I do. Sorry.
Yes, the first sentence of that footnote is part of the revised statement.

Because if so, cue glee, and failure to keep up with the anime again. XD I prefer the manga anyway: there's less time a week for me to get frustrated with the lack of suspense.

Looked like a mistake, I didn't mean to be rude by pointing it out, just figured I'd ask about it. As for the rest of it, barring a couple grammatical hiccups it's well-written. My ability to comment is rather limited by the fact that I don't want to risk putting spoilers out, heh. I'll shut up and get back to work, now. :P

I don't mean to bother you, but I'm just curious about something. Is the mention of the Waterlily Commander a mistake, or was the DMF&F actually larger than Floaters at that time? Also, I apologise for the delay in the things I'm writing up, but it's been a matter of getting to them (and, in the case of the email, organising everything in a neat manner). Nicely written, I was just wondering about the Waterlily Commander thing.

It could, I suppose, be reminiscent of anime. That might vaguely work. But then, since women can't like friendship, fighting, cool military tech, or RPG Club sessions, then maybe not.

I have to agree with Pads here. Not all ladies, or 'laidies' like romance, and that genre is not exclusive to women either.
Plus, unless it is animated it can't be 'animesque', since anime is short for 'animation'. Sorry, but I am nitpicky about this kind of thing.
