Happy birthday, Luana!
In recognition of this, your fifteenth year, I bestow upon you a sack of pebbles, a basket of Bleeprin-berries and your very own sling. Use them well.

I ought to know this, but when is it? lj suggests not in April, although Ansela's and Trojie's are coming up.

It was very good, despite lasting only for eleven chapters. There's also a Danny Phantom one, which had 18 chapters but is now on hiatus.

You wouldn't be at the PPC if you were completely sane.
But personally I'm never too eager for Christmas, and I could probably go on for the rest of my life without it and not even notice. I've gotten a bit jaded about holidays in general, I think.

"I move my hands to his chest his arms above my head holding himself up.
He burys his face in my neck as I kiss hungryly at his face, opps mask.
He moves into a better postion.
His hands traveling my sides and arms warming me, I press myself up agenst him tightly, his hand at my thigh pulling me slightly up I close my eyes, this guy's really a Casanova if I've ever seen one, my chest moves up and he might not be able to kiss me with that mask on but the passion is what matters.
Oh yes the the passion only.
His heat, his fire, now I know he likes me."
Said Suvian was snogging V. Yes, V. From V for Vendetta. Did I mention she was snogging V?
I claim this atrocity.

- Gmail chat seems to be the most common method of PPCers IMing one another. Has the added benefit of google documents, which many of us find handy for betaing and what have you. Definitely recommended.
2. In theory yes, in practice no - I graduate in two months and have a lot of work to do before then.
3. Depends, as others have said, entirely on the context. Trojie's only telling half the story when she says she's sporked something under a thousand words - the shortest we've taken on was a mere 216 words. We got a 3500 word mission out of it. But it was the content of the badfic that made it worthwhile - human boy / velociraptor smut.
4. Floaters, Kingdom Hearts Division?

1 People who become closer friends tend to chat on IMs as they wish just like other groups; there are some general ones for PPCers, like the Lounge, but I don't know how often they're used.
#2 I don't, sorry, but there's probably someone who will.
#3 As the others have said, length means nothing. Mission priority is usually determined by how much the Flowers want to torture us.
#4 Generally Departments are for content (Sues, slash, et cetera) while Divisions are for particular continumns, but if your agent(s) specialise in those fandoms, then you'll get those missions.

3) sprokableness depends not on the number of chapters or the word count. Though, the longer a fic the more charges you are likely to find.
Personally, I'd like a fic to have a little bit of length at least 4-5 chapters or 5k words. But that's because I'd like to find possibilities of good plot in fic and 800 word thingies rarely have enough meat to them to be able to say: bad execution, but there is a good idea behind this.

1) There's the PPC Lounge (check the Wiki for the link) as an official chatroom.
2) I'm afraid I don't right now cos of school, but I'm sure someone will ...
3) Number of chapters is not a deciding factor on whether a fic should be sporked - I've sporked fics of over thirty chapters, I've sporked one-shots. I've sporked things with less than a thousand words, on occasion. Length =/= sporkableness :)
4) I believe there is a Video Gaming Division in the Department of Mary Sues, and probably an equivalent in the Floaters if you have bad slash, bad het or crossovers in video-game continua.
5) Wasn't me.

Some questions and some potential Badfics by

1) I know the board is pretty much the main hub, but do any peeps here talk to each other on any instant messengers?
2) Does anyone have some time to shoot some ideas back and forth about character development and other things?
3) How many chapters, if a fic isn't a one-shot, should a fic have before it becoming a priority mission?
4) Is there a department for the Kingdom Hearts or Resident Evil fandoms where it's possible to tackle any badfics for them?
5) Who took my Monster from the fridge?
And some potential badfics I want to run by y'all before I put them in the Wiki:

Yeah, sorry, no torture; Jay and Acacia say so in the Original Series. We get in Big Trouble with the Flowers for it. As for how they enforce it... brain-breaking missions are a fairly effective threat.

... To be honest, it feels like you're pushing the limits, making your team of agents more absurd than the rest of us. I'm not a Permission Giver, but if I were, I'd ask you to tone it down. If a PPC agent is that far gone, they wouldn't be able to work anymore; the Flowers don't waste the talents of psych people on such a small group, because everyone's overworked. (Also, travel time is not an issue with plotholes, unless HQ decides to make you take the long route. Logic does not exist.)
Also - and don't take this the wrong way - I don't honestly understand how you plan to make headvoices into agents. If you want to personify them into people with near-caricature-ish personality traits, then fine, but actual headvoices? I really, really don't see it working.
Again, I'm not a PG, but I really worry that you're starting too big. Can't you try a normal (so to speak) agent for a while, and then once you're in the swing of mission writing, change to your current favourites?
