Trojie, this is the Whoniverse, science doesn't always make sense there, although it is usually physics that gets screwed over and not biology. Just puzzle over the Ood for a bit.
Pads, I didn't need to think about a pregnant giant head in a jar, thank you very much, but I suppose that I'll take it as payback for the stuff I've linked you to in the past.

Argh! Castaways of the Flying Dutchman Sue! by

Or technically Sues, since there's a human one and another telepathic dog.

Sorry, the only person who gets to communicate with Ned is Ben, not you, Sue. And it's specifically stated in Castaways that the angel is neither male nor female, so kindly stop calling it "she". And it would be nice if the storyline consisted of more words than the interspersed pop songs.
While I'm talking about Castaways, does anyone think the unnamed angel that features in the series might be the same angel (the Archangel Gabriel, to be precise) that appeared in Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales in a slightly different form? I want to know how to handle it in the OFUR.

You're giving me hentai-esque images. Creepy tentacle porn hentai images. In Doctor Who. That's so wrong in so many ways.

Reinette, a.k.a Madame de Pompadour, was featured in an early episode of season 2. Without getting into major details, the episode was written like a love story between her and the Doctor, though it doesn't work out in the end. I'm not exactly sure why she's described as icky; the actress who plays Reinette is ridiculously good-looking, and I found her a witting and interesting character. However, I've heard that certain 10/Rose fans bash her for getting in the way of their favorite ship--er, pairing, that is.
While I'm no fan of 10/Donna myself, I kind of resent that she just dismisses people who do. If someone writes a good 10/Donna fic, I'm willing to put up with it, even if it's not my cup of tea. It's rather difficult to get along in a fandom if you can't learn to agree to disagree.

...It also has a baby. But if it is Jack, well, he's been pregnant despite being a man before, I'm sure he can find a way to get pregnant while not actually having any organs or genitals.

And now I am having horrible mental images of tentacles as genitals.

I have a question for tropers with a knowledge of medtech in the Star Wars verse and/or cybernetics in general. What is possible and what isn't for a character with a mechanical right arm (ala Anakin Skywalker but the limb starts a little higher up)?

I mean really. They seized his entire manga collection -which I sincerely doubt was all hentai- when they were only charging him for part of it? Two adult men having sex in manga format is obscene and illegal (even though it was for private use)? Guys, I have enough stuff on my computer like that to get me arrested if that's the case. I mean, even if they thought the characters were children they only had to ask the guy to get an explanation (and God knows otaku love talking about their manga).
Anyone know what series he bought? It doesn't say in the articles, but you'd think they should at least say what titles.

Well, then, we would know why Suethors aren't held back several years for failing basic language classes - the same reason why idiots like that *coughGeorgeBushcough* get into positions of such high influence and power.

That actually makes sense. Heh. In any case, my opinion is that the ruling that they are considered people is, frankly, quite ridiculous. I define a person as a living being with the capacity to make rational, uncontrolled thought. A fictional character thinks what the author wants them to think, and does what the author wants them to do. Fictional characters are puppets, whether depicted in text or imagery. If the characters were people, then ventriloquist dummies are, by extension, also people. And I say that's absolutely wrong. I really have to put this down on a Big List of Law-Related Failures...

Have a Prinny suit anyway. It increases stats, and adds '-dood' to the end of every sentence the wearer says. If the wearer is picked up and thrown, they explode. It's only really a problem in NIS continua though, where everyone can be carried, so...
