It's been a few days, but I thought I'd drop you a congrats on your second mission. I'm looking forward to reading it since Abhorsen's a personal fandom, unlike the Tales series. So now I can read one of your missions AND have some idea who everyone is without needing the internet! Yay!

Down to the minute, even. My mummy gave birth to me only a few minutes after midnight exactly twenty years ago.

A lot of you don't know me, since I'm new and have been busy with finals preparations for the past few weeks, but I was told people are allowed to plug anything on this board. So I'm plugging myself. Cause no one wished me a happy birthday last year, and this year I want to celebrate, dammit.

Huh. Maybe playing the sympathy card a leetle too much there...

Oh well.

Since this is my first time making a mini template thing, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Thus the fooling-around-with-it-ness. Lemme know which one you use/like better, or even if you have any ideas for improvement. Suggestions are more than welcome. (I was thinking about adding the trademark pink Armstrong sparkles, but since I didn't mention them in the mini's description I didn't. But if you'd like those, by all means, just ask. ^_^)

The season for PPC Christmas filk, that is. Think up a PPC version of your favorite holiday tune and submit it here for posterity and the PPC Christmas Songbook.

Feel free to use songs that have been done already if you have a different take on them. Also, don't feel limited to Christmas if you personally observe Hanukkah or the Solstice or any other holiday.

I think I'm going to try "Badfic Roasting on an Open Flame," myself.

BONUS: If I have time after exams and after I get my act together for my movie parts, I'll make recordings of all the songs I know how to sing, hopefully in time for Christmas.

First and possible foremost:

GenericSurface, the PPC's first sort-of official webcomic, is back on air. Continuing straight on from the last comic, #57:Things Start To Fall Apart.

For those of you just joining us, or who can't remember what in the world is going on, I recommend you head back at least to #49, the beginning of the current storyline. Or you could go to #-5, the actual beginning.

But! I have a second plug to make, first. It's been a little while in the making, and a few people have heard about it already, but most of you haven't. So, I am proud (?) to present...

The PPC Pairing Generator

It has buttons. You press the buttons. It gives you story summaries. You laugh (or groan, or look puzzled, or whatever). You don't need to type anything into the box.

It features the entire list of Agents from the Wiki, so, y'know, that's quite a lot, and also every Flower I know about. If anyone has any suggestions for some of the other variables, though, I'm happy to take them -- my capacity for thinking up verbs is hardly unlimited.
