What happens to the continuum when a PPC Agent writes a fanfic about the PPC? Do they meet? Is there only one? Is the manifestation impossible? Eek!

Yeah.
(As you can tell, my brain has not yet recovered, and it was months ago.
Then again, I ship some pretty strange pairings myself, but at least they're all human.

I know this couldn't have been fun for someone looking for a real story, but I laughed like a maniac at the excerpts of that story. Mostly because I kept reading them as being in the same tone as the John Freeman video voice-overs. Anyway, good job on killing those two. I like the extreme snarkiness of Danny and Laura's interactions.

Here I quote:
"No. We're not doing either. We're writing these missions to be funny and interesting, because we are the goddamn PPC. That is the goddamn point of the entire organization, and we are missing it completely. In HQ, Rule of Funny is Word of God. Sometimes we need to be serious, but when we do we should beware of blowing this seriousness out of proportion. Angst should be kept to a minumum, and the same goes for plotline. The point of this is to have fun with the plots of badfic, not to create monolithic storylines and backstories for each individual agent. And the Grey Lady knows that we don't need a full-blown Emergency to write a decent fight scene."

Ghân-buri-Ghân?! Really, people? Did you know that the LoM has an entire feature specifically devoted to doing the weirdest slash pairings you can think of?! Melian/Galadriel! Arwen/Estë! Narvi/Faramir! Heck, they've even got Balrog/Gamling, the teme s!

And he was wearing a clock with "RAPE" where all the numbers should have been. I would have been disturbed if it hadn't been funny.
There was some other stuff, too, that I can't really remember well--the whole con was so epic that specific details sort of got lost in the general epicness. If that makes any sense at all. It probably doesn't.

Okay, I don't normally use exclamation points and capital letters so liberally. Anyhoo, here's Aeidhryn, the newb, saying hello to you! And I give you a zombie, who apparently eats chicken brains in place of human ones, if human ones are not available. Unfortunately, Mary-Sues make him sick. He might make a good pet. And here's an offer to beta everything you got. (Unfortunately, I don't play Halo or many videogames- so- yeah, grammar and spelling is all I can do)
Have fun sorting out this humongous flood of presents!

I'm not sure why the single quotes; it's what I've been using for a while now, so it's more of a personal style thing than anything else. As for everything else, thanks for the beta. I'm glad there weren't too many mistakes. ^^

Have a gun. Even with that suit, when you encounter Sues you need firepower.
*sees M5 assault rifle and M6 pistol* Er, maybe you do not need another gun.

It depends on whether anyone's able to help me. I'm rather a busy bee right now, and updating FfL is a fairly intensive job for the few days it lasts. If someone can volunteer to make a daily collection of updates (with all relevant details - username, user number if applicable, story/chapter title, reviews etc, and date of posting, plus the actual text) to email to me, then yes. Or if someone wants to brave the perils of my idiosyncratic HTML and update it themselves, then also yes. But I currently don't have time to find every new post on the thread myself, I'm afraid. :(
I'm really hoping we can do it, though.

I gave it a twice over, and made a few comments. Your grammar seems to be better than mine (which granted doesn't necessarily say much), but you might want someone that actually knows grammar to check it out.
It is funny. Lee and Ian's interactions are great.
I'm interested to see how David will turn out.
Overall, very nice.

LotR is a fairly high-level reading, too, so you'd think they'd have a decent grasp of how writing works.
On the other hand, their grammar/spelling skills have no bearing on their actual ability to /write/, keep people in character, or any of the many, many factors that create goodfic.
For bizarre pairings, that tops the list, although I think the Harry/Basilisk is a close second. (I did meet someone who shipped Dobby/Giant Squid, but that was only because "The fandom is that f---ed up and you know it.")

You're allowed to claim before you get permission. by

If you want to do this one yourself for your first mission, you're allowed to claim it and work on creating your agents while you wait to get permission. I hung around for a couple of months before I got permission, and got a lot of input on my agents from people in the chat room (between various and sundry geeky conversations.)
