Weirdly, it made me *want* to start a webcomic ... sadly real comic artists don't get to fight hordes of rabid catgirls. Sad.

I'm totally gonna use it for OFUR inspiration. We wanna do something different from the usual "Sue invasion" plot because that's getting boring, but nothing says there can't be a section like this.

All you really need to do is start it. There used to be a rule where you had to ask Miss Cam for permission, so it's a good idea to send her an email mentioning it, but I think you just have to give her credit. Co-writers make it even more fun for me but that's a personal choice. Other than that, just go ahead and do it!

Hoop 1 is mostly what I'm concerned with - as far as I can tell, Miss Cam hasn't shown up in... a while. Though, it seems she's been writing...

Hoop 2 is at least partially jumped.

Hoop 3 I've got stuck halfway through, as it's one of the Tales games, and I don't know *anyone* familiar enough with all of them. However, the one that's attracted the most squealing fanbrats is the one I'm most familiar with, and the one for which I can fit through Hoop 2. ^_^

But this is completely and totally hypothetical.

Sorry, I forgot to mention something. I'm trying to get it out before either Christmas or January 4th (my birthday). It's not vital, but I thought it'd be a gift to my readers. If you can get it done before either of those dates, thanks. If not, I'll still accept the help gratefully (I need a second opinion) and thanks anyway.

I need a beta reader for the second chapter of one of my stories as Sedri, who did the first chapter, is unavailable. It's a time-travelling Harry Potter story. It does have a few out of fandom elements later on (sequels are Stargate crossovers), but very little so far apart from the inclusion of a random unnamed character who'll appear again later. The first step would be to ask permission. I'm not sure if Miss Cam is still the one to go to, but I'm quite sure there's someone who should at least be notified.

Hoop #2 would probably be getting a co-author, but that's not necessary, only really helpful.

Hoop #3 would be telling us what fandom this is for. ;p

I can tell you that it's definitely Not a Good Idea. If it gives me even a hint of nausea, which is what it did, then it truly is a horrible and disturbing 'fic indeed.

That's only a real danger in the Disgaea-verse, where the thing's from. There, everyone can be picked up and thrown. i think even the biggest enemy in the game (well, the first, anyway) can be picked up, but I'm not sure. Stat boosts from it go over 999 though, so it's still quite useful. Actually, in the game, the suits don't really cause you to explode like a normal prinny or look like one, but I'll just shrug that off as a programming limitation. Heh.

Just for Whovians, perhaps. Whovians who have seen some rather disturbing fan communities that bring a whole new creepy meaning to the phrase "selfcest." Some fanbrats take their love of David Tennant a little too far.

Also, I hate mpreg. And Rincewind doesn't deserve that kind of misfortune, though knowing his luck, it could actually happen. Run, Rincewind! Run from the scary fanbrats!

And anyways, it's because of evil fics like these that I joined this community. That, and to use my literary masochist tendencies for the power of good. As a slash fanwoman, I feel honorbound to exterminate those who give the rest of us a bad name.

So swap 'ignore' in for 'adore,' and put 'abhor' in place of 'ignore' so it'll go ignore, abhor, deplore. ^_^

I did the maths (on my fingers! who needs mental arithmetic?) before reading your post, and was slightly disturbed. Because, happy birthday etc, but if you've officially just started your second decade doesn't that mean you've just turned ten?

I was doing it before it was the cool thing though...

I know that I have posted the comic before, but this is hilarious! I would sugest starting from the begining of the story arc, but not really nessessary. I wonder if this would be Tolkiens reaction....
