Hey, I'm officially reserving a couple of 'fics for as soon as I have a computer again, which should be just a coupla weeks. Namely, the two Symphonia fics on the unclaimed list. I have only recently been introduced to the joys of Symphonia, and I have one thing to say to the Suethors: LEAVE KRATOS ALONE.
Now, if there are others interested, I may be willing to do joint missions; currently I'm asking Trojie and Pads to help with the slash one, but if others want to do those two with one of my two agents, then you're welcome to ask. I think I'd like doing joint missions.
Cheers,
Lee

Yeah, that's the sad bit. The guy knows his stuff. Pity he decides to screw it over. Hm...death by exploding "CAD-grenade" sounds about right.

Bwuh? What? That's just...
Kill it Ugolino, once you have Permission, with much pain. I've only played the first game and have yet to read Contact Harvest, but two chapters of that drivel alone are enough to tell that you have a first grade Marty Stu there.
Holy shit, I just read a bit further. They make him a Spartan? What happened to the whole kidnapping at age six, physical, mental and intellectual training until age fourteen and even then there's less than fifty percent chance of surviving the augmentation procedure part of the SPARTAN process? The author's obviously read the books, he knows this, why does he still do it?

Stupid name
Surviving without any armour whatsoever despite getting into firefights. Elites and Hunters have better aim than that, and even a grazing hit would be severe due to her completely unarmoured state.
Disobeying orders from a superior officer and getting away with it.
Suevian attitude.
Thoughts?

Alright, alright, Pads, no Abhorsenverse missions. But can I possibly drag you into Tortall? I'm *sure* there are some inappropriate knight-slash stories out there.

I don't know the fandom, but a 'Sue is a 'Sue. Nice sporkings. =D
Tasmin's time-knowing-thing struck me as very amusing, for some reason.

Er... yeah. You lost me. Smurfs are the little blue things, right? Possibly with white diapers?
I can understand the bias. I'm currently committing something similar against Stephenie Meyer's books, as everyone and their dog is attempting to get me to read the rest of the Twilight series. >.
*eyes DBS dubiously* It's an idea. Especially as there are some rather atrocious bad slash fics in some of my favorite fandoms. I'm still weighing the trauma versus the entertainment and satisfaction output, though.

The Narrative Laws of Comedy and the Ironic Overpower, however, might not be so forgiving. (cue evil laughter)
I have to admit, it's the first Abhorsen 'Sue I've encountered. If they're generally nasty, I shudder to think of the state of the rest of the fandom.

Meh, I have one reserved.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4505478/1/Kyle_091
Stu the Spartan, aka Kyle-091, is a self-insert who miraculously saves half a dozen canon characters from dying, warps the plot out of recognition, steals most of the memorable lines from their owners, and gets a fraking Spartan pregnant. Of course, he had to pick Kelly. Adding to the fun, the author seems to have a broken caps lock key and can't even plagiarize the book properly.
It's the little things that really tick me off, though. For example, the meaning of the middle finger has apparently been forgotten in "the general"'s warped little Haloverse, despite CANON evidence to the contrary. Did I mention he survives after the Gravemind's been trying to infect him for an hour?
The good general's even spawned two more Kyle fics....

I can't find any. Has anyone done a Haloverse mission? The fanfiction.net category has more self-inserts, Stus and extra Spartans than any other section I've seen...

That'll teach me not to listen to random info from the Internet (in most cases), and just read/watch Tsubasa already. Although I am still wondering what the erasure talent would cost. Something fairly high, I'm sure, seeing as it means anything can be erased and un-erased at will.

Unfortunately, I'm biased against Garth Nix's books, my former housemate having raved altogether too much about Sabriel.
If the best your subconscious can come up with is bitches about capitalisation, your agents may benefit from some time in the DBS. Over here, bad English is the least of our worries.
Also, I am taking this moment to officially say unto Trojie, "No. We are not going into Abhorsen fics. Not unless you want to spark a three-days-long rant about the Smurf every time you try to make me write a single line."

There were issues with forgetting the capitals on several proper nouns within the 'fic, but only one spawned amusing-ness: the transformation of Saraneth to saraneth. Not done. >.
The Abhorsen Trilogy - Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen - is a series written by Garth Nix. Loads of fun including necromancers, living dead, and the Abhorsen, who is meant to return the dead who have been woken to their rightfully-earned rest. I highly recommend looking it up. ^_^

I promise I'll have a read and make comments on the mission when I sober up.
Fic is a common noun anyway; it were never proper, 'cause it ent real English, so dinnae fash yersen. But if your subconscious is asking Trojie to britpick, give it a kick from me, 'cause I've spent years britpicking her brain.
Um. What's Abhorsen?

You'll forgive him, however, if he keeps his distance from the new Agent. Old necromancer habits, you understand.

I don't think Yuuko can create Gods so much. She might be able to give people powers but it's all strictly on her terms. I don't think she can give people immortality either. Well, she might be able to but she wouldn't due to the whole Space Time Continuum thing. She's got this thing about not letting people come back from the dead, so eternally putting off death is probably a no no too. Death is inevitable, after all.

You know, volunteering you for something without asking first, ordering you around like my beta slave (which you are, but no need to show that off in front of company), etc etc etc.
Next time I'll throw all that to the wind though and volunteer you anyway. :)

Not familiar with the A-Team, but I read the first one and will probably read the second one later. What an annoying Sue. And Sam.
Nice mission. I liked Tasmin's talent of...being exact about when the moon or sun would rise. Not really sure what you'd call that...

Yup, I've had 'em. The only one I can remember right now is the one where hS came to America for a visit and stayed in the basement of my old house, where I was still living for some reason. It was a little strange, to be honest. I think we watched the Wonderworks production of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." And there was something about my set of Prismacolor pencils, but I don't remember.
