Just look at Dafydd for proof of that. :P

A lot of those changes just got made almost verbatim. Because they were good, and I liked them. Some of them, I worked out my own solutions to.
Fun fact: Al had more physical description in an earlier draft, but I couldn't find a way to make it not seem clumsy. Seeing as I have now done that, a bit of it is back!
The punch line was very well delivered and made me laugh out loud.
I do have one question, though: Where is this set? Because if it's in the PPC, I don't think taxes are actually a thing there... Hm.
*shrugs*
Rule of Funny either way. Nice work. :)
Tom shared a flat, because there are only so many cleared accommodations for Laundry types (especially anyone who knows anything, which he does). So yeah.
Thanks for letting me know. It was still funny either way. :)
Taxes are one of them. If you think hanging out in a multi-verse spanning pocket dimension is going to keep the tax collectors from finding you, then you have another think coming.

... they never said 'leave them dead'. ^_~
(Seriously though I have done that far too often.)

Instead of killing your darlings, why not psychologically scar them for the rest of their lives instead? >:)
Because you sure are evil, Ix. :-P
And actually, the ramble was fine. I dunno why that story in particular got to me... :-(
Also, I think I'm glad you bucked the stereotypes? As a rule, that tends to be a good thing.
But anyways, yeah. ALL THE HYPE for your next prompt.
Now, this here—this is how I wish the mating flights had been handled in the books. (Maybe they were in the later ones; I'm mostly just familiar with the ones about Lessa and F'lar.)
Seeing Derik before he lost his dragon was nice, and it... makes how he is now kind of more painful, actually. Kudos for activating my angst sensors in a fluff piece. :P
It’s just misleading phrasing, although the time manipulation is an interesting theory.
I haven’t really undertaken a detailed study of the geography of HQ, but I’ll make a note of that for future.
Once again, thanks!
... Is that it can't encapsulate my screaming. ;)
Dai Stiho, though, coz!
Yeah, er, I turned out to be a wizard... preeeeeetty much by accident. Whoops. Long story, very boring, involves at least one pub in Norwich. I'm just glad to have you on board, and Wombat is too. I think you'd get on. =]
Scapegrace
It has been 2736 days without a Not Being On Errantry incident.
October 1st, 1987 (3:43 AM, as Mom has made sure to tell me), maple-leaf crimson, and... you know? I think it's changing things. Setting them rightly into the universe by changing them. Or, in other words,
'British evening' for you.

I wish I had something of my own to contribute to this. =]
May 31st, Cyan/light blue, and... some combination of psychology and beta-reading. =P Because some things don't change.
I've put it down as 'order (mind)', which hopefully captures the idea without being too big for the circle. :)

Thanks, hS. :)
May 12, 1997, dark green, and... probably some sort of specialization in time manipulation?
With a certain fictional(?) inspiration...
(I didn't quite go so far as to write 'Time Lord' in the final slot, but I wanted to.)

I dunno, it just seems weird to put something that volatile into a signature...
If it makes you feel better, I'm still pretty new at this wizarding thing, too—I discovered it years back and... forgot about it until recently. Glad to welcome you into the fold. ^-^
...now I want to make cookies. And eat cookie dough. *shakes fist* I blame you for this!
Are these prompts meant to be just for the PPC universe, or could one write/post something inspired by the prompt but entirely unrelated to the PPC?
Thanks!
While the vast majority of the replies are related to the PPC universe one way or another, you could also write something that is not connected to the PPC as well. Personally I'd recommend keeping it to a canon well known enough for other people to recognise it for giving concrit, but you can do anything you want, so long as its inspired by the prompts.
Prompts are noncanon, unless the author states otherwise. So you can write without permission.
