IMO, half the fun of this silly idea is seeing who might be friends (or reluctant acquaintances, or enemies, or girlfriends/boyfriends) with who in this universe.

Nume would definitely not want much to do with someone like Unger, but if you're an antisocial geek who just wants to game, you don't always get to pick your group. It's up to the GM who they allow in the game; and while I can see Nume maybe running a canned adventure now and then if pressed, I don't see him coming up with a homebrew—or if he did, it would suck, because he'd get bogged down in the details and try to railroad the whole thing. The funny thing is, while he's interested in wild, imaginative stuff, he's not actually the most creative person himself.

He'd probably play mostly spellcasters or the equivalent (it helps that he can always remember everything his character can do, unlike me), but I can also see him going for tanks on occasion. The point of RP is to be something you're not, after all.

And yeah, Iximaz, I had a friend like that, too. The GM always had to keep the Monster Manual behind a screen so he wouldn't be able to tell what the monster was based on what page the book was open to. ^_^;
