Cali is/was a teenager (not sure where he is on the timeline right now), but teenage-modern-Earth-human high school, I believe he would be the kid who reads way too many comic books, and dyes his hair blue. It seems like he would be a prime target for bullying, because he's not all that big, and not all that strong, but he smiles so darn much and is so nice to everyone that it would be like kicking a puppy to pick on him. Even the cool kids would interfere if someone gave him a hard time.

Unger is that kid who has been strong ADHD meds since he was four and it's stunted his growth, so he's tiny. And he's still unbearably hyperactive, and got shuffled off into the resource classes years ago (remember he couldn't read when he joined the PPC). He is incredibly friendly of the never-met-a-stranger sort, but tends to get on people's nerves with his impulsivity. He's not actually unintelligent, he just can't focus long enough to function in a classroom.

Miah is one of those kids that talks big, acts out, is irreverent to teachers, but skates along doing just enough homework and behaving just well enough that she doesn't get suspended (too often), though she is frequently in detention. She's just unpredictable enough to keep everyone unsure of what she'll do next and just vindictive and sneaky enough to keep everyone ever so slightly afraid of getting on her bad side. She avoids commitments, but will do nice things for people that she feels deserve it, especially if she can arrange for no one to know it was her.

Kelok is very smart, but painfully shy. He is generally subdued, wears dark clothing and doesn't try to make friends at school. He was adopted from an orphanage in one of the formerly Soviet countries as a preschooler. He is neighbors with Unger. They have been friends since Kelok got to this country, even though they have wildly mismatched personalities. He knows how to fight, and has been suspended several times over the years for decisively ending fights that bullies started with him. He's mostly left alone now as not worth it since he won't react to anything less than physical violence (and they've mostly learned they want to avoid that with him).

I think the Daisy should be something like the Career Development teacher.
