I am also new - arguably more so than you since I only learned about all this stuff recently - but it's great to meet you! My gift to you is a spoonful of crystallized honey, with the hope that something long neglected in the darkness of a back cabinet and only now lifted back to the light can still bring sweetness into the world.

Thanks, I've read the Constitution, and I shall introduce myself. I have some knowledge of many popular canons, and the three things I like the most are John Hodgman's Complete World Knowledge trilogy, Warhammer 40,000, and the short stories of Argentinian magical realist and knife-fighting enthusiast Jorge Luis Borges. Outside of those I have eclectic tastes in music, from heavy metal (mostly Powerwolf, Sabaton, and Tool), to opera of the romantic era (I have listened mostly to the works Wagner and Stravisky). To be honest, eclectic describes most of my tastes.

It's nice to meet you, newbie! Thanks for the gift; it's greatly appreciated. In return, I offer you a Generic Weapon of any type you want. I'd advise you to check out the Constitution if you haven't already. In the meantime, tell us about yourself! Who are you? What are your likes? Dislikes? What fandoms are you in? What stories do you read? What type of writing do you do, if any? We look forward to getting to know you. :)

Is this my first fanfic? I'm claiming it as my first fanfic. =]
Thank you for writing this. It's fascinating to look at the Canon Library, and a privilege to be part of the Restricted Section. I hope the unknowable entity that goes by the Canon Librarian enjoys Anomalies. =]

I have read PPC 'fics for several years, but this is my first post here on the board.
I come here with an offering of a randomly generated Harry Potter chapter:

I approve greatly of buttons, and fandom tree toppers. We just packed our Weeping Angel away today.

A short story put together over the holidays; I literally can't say any more:

And while I'm here... a couple of Christmas present pics:
'Ook', says the Eagle.
Kaitlyn and I have decided this is Elberath, her mini, rather than one of my two. ^_^ I'm fine with that. Angling to get her put on top of the tree next year.

The total headcount is about 50 folks, doing off census responses. And noticable chunks of the 50 wander in and out and aren't super involved.
For example, the "will feel bothered to express an opinion in the rare event of a Drama" count has reliably been 22-ish for a while now.
So democratic consensus-making seems to be working pretty well for us, it feels.

Usually big organizations that don't have to ban a lot of people and are democratic in nature tend to fracture. But this is obviously still here and whole-I-guess? Hmm.

Has someone informed Nord of the community's expectations of him? If he is aware and failing to step up, what are you going to do about it?

And yes, that's ever. For a long time, the occasional trolls and spots of drama somehow managed to get taken care of through the natural force of social pressure.
The less said about the ones that required more effort to get rid of, the better.

I mean ever? I only ever hear about Bramandin/zdimensia/Makkara/TooPurple/etc, so is she the only one so far? I've been thinking a lot about how big organizations work, but I'm going to hold my reasons for asking this until my viewing of Star Wars Episode 8 in the movie theater (and with it the "epicness mindset" that I get whenever I watch movies) wears off and I calm down a bit.

Overall, I think you're looking pretty good! Just a couple things I wanted to flag:
First, from Mei's bio, stealing all the left socks is funny. Telling Potterverse canon children that "Dumbledore dies in the end" is less so. Be careful that Mei's pranks do not get too mean or actually damage the canon.
Second, somewhat related, your writing style seems to be straddling the line between serious and comic. I really enjoyed the humor in the second prompt, but the Cafeteria scene had me a little worried when it came to the mentions of silverware embedded in the walls and frozen coffee spears. In a totally comic setting with totally comedic violence, it would probably be fine, but because I'm not entirely sure yet what tone you're going to settle into, those things seemed a little too dangerous to be funny. So, watch out for that sort of thing, too.
Those two things aside, I liked both prompts. The first one quickly drew me in and had me interested in the outcome, and the second one, as I said, was pretty funny. I loved "Coffee went boom!" Poor intern. {X D
Assuming you meant Erron and Mei by "both characters," I'd support putting Sylendre in Floaters, once she's been trained up a bit. The more agents on a team, the longer the mission gets to give everyone enough screen time, so keeping it to two most of the time is a good idea. Having her still share their RC might be interesting, though.
(BTW, how is "Sylendre" pronounced? My brain wants to make it like "cylinder.")
I'd normally advise avoiding anything remotely connected to a Legendary Badfic for an early mission, but seeing as you've got your self-sporking lined up first, and "Im Not Okay" doesn't really look that dire, you may well take it in stride. I'm willing to find out.
So, with that, Permission Granted!

My sense is indeed that this isn't the first time Nord's name has come up in instances of misconduct toward others. However, my memory isn't accurate enough to say exactly when or under what circumstances, or if those incidents were ever resolved.
I did look at that bit of the Conciliatory, though, and it looks like Herr is the only one who offered any kind of apology for any of it (specifically, revealing private information). Nord flat-out refused. The resolution there was that they both agreed to have nothing more to do with each other. That was a pretty extreme deal where neither side was blameless, though, which doesn't seem directly connected to this current discussion.
If anyone knows anything I don't, I encourage them to please speak up.
For now, my feeling is that an apology from Nord is required, for the insult to OpinionedAngel (since he hasn't denied it) and for ignoring multiple attempts to clarify the issue, and if it is not delivered, then the Discord mods should take whatever action they feel is appropriate to censure the behavior.
