Welcome, fans of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum and supporters of the Canon Protection Initiative! If you've got a story to plug, an opinion to share, or a discussion you want to join in, this is the place!
If you're looking for PPC stories to read, why not start with The Original Series – the missions of the famous assassins Jay and Acacia, the very first stories in PPC history. Once you've finished them, check out the list of Killed Badfic to find a mission you like the look of, or The Complete List of PPC Fiction to look up specific agents or departments.
Before you join the fun, there are some important links you should know about. Being familiar with these will save you a lot of hassle!
This list is also available as a Atom/RSS feed

First of all—and I should have pointed this out to one or two other people before now, too—it's not generally advised to post a link to something you want beta'd where anybody can open it. This means people who are not your beta can see your work in an unfinished state, which is potentially cause for embarrassment. It may also inhibit prospective betas. (I don't like to work under observation, personally.) The beta process is ideally a conversation between writer and beta, working toward the shared goal of a good story. A free-for-all open beta doesn't generally result in good beta work.
That said, since you DID post the link, I took a look out of curiosity, and I have concerns. This description of Noman particularly alarms me:
Aggressive, impulsive, reckless, and loud, lacking inhibitions, morality, decency, and a rebel. Not an intellectual, but possesses some intelligence. Noman prefers a head on charge at his enemies, until they are destroyed. He doesn’t back down, surrender, or negotiate at all.
A quick skim of the writing samples doesn't give me much hope that this is somehow going to be played for laughs, either. I don't see much humor at all. Now, a PPC series doesn't have to be pure comedy, but it should have a sense of fun and be able to generate some laughs. To work at the PPC is to have the weirdest investigator's job in the multiverse plus the occasional risk of death by absurdity. It's not a military drama, which is the flavor I'm getting here.
As a Permission Giver, I would deny this request in anything close to its current form. Please reconsider the direction you're going with this.

Edited, reworking to be funnier. I'll post a new version when I rewrite it to be better.
So, as many people who have been around since I began being in the PPC spaces should know what I'm talking about: TW: borderline NSFW title. Yes, that is the actual title, and it pretty much describes what the fic is about. It's located at Warning! NSFB, NSFW, and probably hits bl11 on the Discord Blacklist..
It's pretty bad.
I figured I would petition the Board for this since that's the way one does it with Legendaries.
It will turn 4 this July (I believe). It's in the Rescue Bots canon. Every chapter is a wall of text (little to no paragraph breaks), the grammar is horrible, and a fair amount of the characters are OOC/posessed.
So, I ask if I can add it to the list of Bleepfics for these reasons.
(Apologies if I left anything out or did something wrong. I'm a bit new to posting badfic reports.)

The fourth Jay and Acacia mission, and the second for which we have a solid date: Acacia announced it over on the LOTR fansite Entmoot (which I think has recently gone down, sigh).
The badfic is long gone, but if so inclined you can read its sister story, The Watcher. J&A's Suvian makes a cameo in the first chapter!

A couple people on the Lounge have noticed at the Permission Prompt Guidelines doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IE81HONRJnp0IaK92GvzyL00CZYNZG_pvdo93gRMIhY/pub) has been locked, could whoever owns it unlock it again? Thanks.
Thanks for the concrit! I do prefer to stylise my work towards a more cartoony feel, so realism isn’t necessarily what I was aiming for. I’m glad you liked the linework and colours though.
I have a separate art thread from this one specifically so that I would not detract from Nesh and Zing’s story. I’m sure they would appreciate thoughts on their work as well 😄

It expires after a week or after ten people use it.
Read the rules, have fun.
The entire MCU is all one canon, so I feel it should have a single mini type, just as The Silmarillion, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings all create mini-Balrogs.

Hi. the link's dead. Could you please make a new one?
That's very nice, and the messages are cute. The subdued shading is nice and the linework is crisp, visually pleasing, and confident. One thing to note, though, is that the eye is only about halfway up the head, not three-quarters of the way up the head. This is a pretty common error in drawing faces, but once you know, faces look a lot more natural with it.
He/him, if I figured out this pronoun thing. I'm old and haven't seen it brought up much.
I had reviewed fanfic a while back, now I guess is the time I reveal some. The Project And The Plumber is a prime example of Gary Studom, where the main character, "Rick", supplants Mario in the canon of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Having relations with any and all women he encounters, essentially at will, Rick casually overpowers every obstacle set before him, being blessed with essentially limitless abilities. It follows the plot of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door roughly beat-by-beat, but tries to layer another plot about super soldiers escaping from parallel worlds on top of it. Needless to say it fails both as an original plot and a novelization.
It's also a lemon, but I don't remember too much about those scenes. I want to go and do a proper Mission for this myself, but if you want to beat me to it while I'm waiting for permission, be my guest.
It may have been edited since I did my review.
Um, if it was considered incest for Ar-Pharazôn to marry his first cousin Tar-Míriel, wouldn't it be incest for Fingon and Maedhros to be in a relationship?
Even though that's akin to shipping Dumbledore with Voldemort 🤣
and then they ship Merry and Pippin (who are cousins!) from LOTR. And don't get me started on Narnia shipping or I will probably start hollering.
Let's start off with a classic slash pairing in the fandom. deep breath
Zoro x Sanji.
I just don't get it. Why are they always paired up despite their intense canon rivalry? I guess it's the ol' schoolyard principle that says "if they hate your guts, that means they secretly love you." But it still causes major breaches to canon and OOC-ness, leading to a lot of Bad Slash. And we don't want that, right? And, may I add that Zoro is often the seme and Sanji the uke in this pairing?
Movin' on!
Next is a lot of "Luffy x" pairings. Again, OOC-ness abound, because Luffy has not really shown any romantic attraction towards anyone. And there is also the beast that is known as Luffy x Ace. Really? Shipping Luffy with his adoptive brother?
More pairings coming soon! Also, I just wanted to share some of my personal feelings toward some pairings. I wasn't trying to attack them directly, I was just saying they have a high risk factor.
BTW, Sierpinski, what are your preferred pronouns?

You can also do that here on the Board, by commenting on other people's threads. There are several recent story plugs on the front page, for instance, and an art one, too! Giving people constructive feedback on their work is an excellent way to gain social currency. {= )
